Abstract
A ventilation device performing an exhaust and an intake simultaneously by driving the exhaust fan and the intake fan simultaneously by the same motor is stored and arranged at the side space of the heat exchanger in an interior unit of an air conditioner, but it is unable to perform only one of the exhaust or the intake. Furthermore, for installing the fan at two sides of the motor it becomes a long air conditioner from side to side so that the interior unit is quite needed to be improved into oblong type. This invention provides a thin ventilation unit which is able to select one or both of the intake and the exhaust, and being stored at the narrow side space of the heat exchanger in the air conditioner. A ventilation unit provides a fan which is able to select the intake mode, the exhaust mode and the intake-exhaust mode. It also operates the intake-exhaust fan and the exhaust fan in exhaust mode, operates the intake-exhaust fan in intake mode, and operates the intake-exhaust fan and the exhaust fan in intake-exhaust mode.
