Abstract

A gear speed-reduction mechanism, including at least one ring gear, one gear carrier, one first gear assembly, one second carrier, and one second gear assembly. The first gear carrier has a cam shaft. The first gear assembly is located at the bottom side of the first carrier, and is meshed with the first ring gear and attached to the output of a rotational power source. The second gear assembly is located at the bottom side of the second gear carrier, and is meshed with the second ring gear and attached to the cam shaft of the first gear carrier. When the rotational power source is running, it will drive the first gear assembly and the cam shaft of the first carrier to rotate, which will then drive the second gear assembly so as to cause a relative rotation between the ring gear and the second carrier and to output power.
