Abstract
An apparatus for inspecting liquid crystal panel is provided, wherein a peripheral portion of a liquid crystal panel can be prevented from floating up and the liquid crystal panel can be securely set on a work table by utilizing a pusher roller having a taper surface. When a pusher roller 86 is moved by an air cylinder toward a direction represented by an arrow 134, a taper surface 112 of the pusher roller 86 contacts with a third edge 20 of a liquid crystal panel 10 which has been set on the work table 50, and pushes the third edge 20 in a right direction and a down direction. Namely, a first edge 16 of the liquid crystal panel 10 contacts with a stopper roller 118 of a first stopper 62, and hence an alignment operation of the liquid crystal panel 10 in X direction is completed. Similarly, the liquid crystal panel 10 may also be aligned in Y direction. By using the pusher roller 86 having the taper surface 112, the third edge 20 and a fourth edge of the liquid crystal panel can be prevented from floating up.
