Abstract

To obtain a gas insulated switchgear having current transformer units on the opposite sides of a circuit breaker unit in which the structure is made compact by reducing the volume occupied by the current transformer units in the gas insulated switchgear. In the gas insulated switchgear provided with a first current transformer unit 10 on one side of a circuit breaker unit 30 and a second current transformer unit 20 on the other side, both the first current transformer unit 10 and the second current transformer unit 20 are arranged on one side face side of the circuit breaker unit 30. Since both the first current transformer unit and the second current transformer unit are arranged on one side face of the circuit breaker unit and no current transformer unit is arranged on the other side face of the circuit breaker, the volume being occupied by the current transformer units in the gas insulated switchgear can be reduced. Consequently, the gas insulated switchgear can be made compact and installation space can be reduced.
