Abstract

A plate glass of flat panel display having practical, sufficient function and performance and a good yield rate is provided. The plate glass with maximum inner defect is over 30μm. In addition, the maximum depth or the maximum height from a part of the light transmitting surface which is corresponding to a position of the inner defect to the light transmitting surface exceeds 0.1μm is determined as defective, and others are judged as good quality plate glass.
