Abstract

A counter-pressure casting machine, comprising a molten metal holding furnace (2), a lower die plate (4) disposed above the molten metal holding furnace (2) and having a lower mold (3) fitted to the upper surface thereof, a lifting member (7) liftably disposed above the lower die plate and having an upper mold (6) fitted to the lower surface thereof, a surrounding mechanism (8) fitted to the upper surface of the lower die plate and the lower surface of the lifting member, capable of surrounding the upper and lower molds airtight, and vertically dividable at a specified position, a lifting drive mechanism lifting the lifting member, a stoke (10) allowing the molten metal holding furnace to communicate with the upper and lower molds, and a mold opening/closing mechanism (5) installed on the lifting member and in which the upper mold is fitted to the lifting member through the mold opening/closing mechanism.
