Abstract

The present invention provides a method and system to detect the independent operation of distributed power-generation system. The distributed power-generation system has a power-generation source connected to an independent power-distribution system through the first current-shunt breaker. The detection method of the present invention is to first read the voltage signal or frequency signal on the independent power-distribution system, and convert the voltage or frequency signal by wavelet transform, so as to form a time versus high-frequency-component window and a time versus low-frequency-component window for detecting the perturbation signal in the transient time domain of signal. Then determine if the absolute value of the high-frequency component is larger than a threshold and the lasting period exceeds a threshold time. If yes, the independent operation has occurred, the system of the present invention generates an alarm signal to the first current-shunt breaker immediately, so as to drive the first current-shunt breaker to trip away, and disconnect the power-generation source and the power-distribution system.
