Abstract
A polarizer comprising polarized films, protective film and adhesive layer is provided. The polarized film is made from polyvinyl alcohol resin and the protective film is made from cellulose acetate. The adhesive layer is made from the resin of the urethane of ionomer type of polyeaster system. With adhesive layer to laminate the protective film and the polarized film at least one face of the polarized film to form the polarizer. Besides, the method of manufacturing the polarizer is provided. First, a polarized film made from polyvinyl alcohol resin is provided. Second, the adhesive agent made from the resin of the urethane of ionomer type of polyeaster system is provided. After that, the polarized film and a plurality of protective film made from cellulose acetate are laminated with adhesive agent. The polarizer with enhanced adhesiveness under the condition of high temperature and moisture is provided. Additionally, the method thereof is provided without significant remodel in the current used equipments.
