The present invention provides an optical compensation sheet having adhesion and excellent surface condition together and a method for producing same. The present application also provides a crystal display device shown high quality comprising a polarizing plate which the said optical compensation sheet disposed on one side of the polarizing film. The present invention provides an optical compensation sheet and the method for producing it. The method for producing the optical compensation sheet is laminated by the order of transparency support, orientating film, optical anisotropic layer, characterized in that at least one of the said optical anisotropic layer and the orientating film comprises at least one organic acid having at least one polar group.
