Abstract

Claims (10)
1. A cultivator (l) comprising: a cabinet (2) for growing plants; and an illuminating unit (3) for illuminating the plants inside the cabinet (2), characterized by further comprising: a ventilating unit (4) which is adapted to cool the illuminating unit (3) With the ambient air outside the cabinet (2).
2. The cultivator (l) according to claim 1, characterized by further comprising: an attachment apparatus (5) for attaching the illuminating unit (3) into the cabinet (2), Wherein the ventilating unit (4) comprises one or more ventilating channels (6) which are disposed into the attachment apparatus (5) in close proximity to the illuminating unit (3).
3. The cultivator ( l) according to claim 2, characterized in that one or more ventilating channels (6) are disposed above the illuminating unit (3) and/or beside the illuminating unit (3).
4. The cultivator (1) according to claim 2 or 3, characterized in that the illuminating unit (3) comprises a panel (7) Which comprises one or more light sources; and the attachment apparatus (5) is adapted to attach the panel (7) across the side walls (8) of the cabinet (2).
5. The cultivator ( l) according to claim 4, characterized in that the light source comprises one or more light emitting diodes.
6. The cultivator (l) according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the ventilating unit (4) comprises: a fan (9); and one or more vents (10), wherein the vents (10) are disposed into the side walls (8) and/or the rear wall (l 1) of the cabinet (2).
7. The cultivator (l) according to claim 6, where dependent on claim 2, characterized in that one or more vents (10) are disposed in close proximity to the ventilating channels (6).
8. The cultivator (1) according to claim 7, characterized in that the vents (10) are disposed into the rear wall (1 1) of the cabinet (2), and the ventilating Channels (6) extend from the rear of the cabinet (2) to the front of the cabinet (2).
9. The cultivator (l) according to any one of claims 1 to 8, characterized by further comprising: a cooling unit for adjusting the temperature of the cabinet (2).

The cultivator (l) according to any one of claims 1 to 9, characterized by further comprising: one or more trays (12) for holding the plants, Wherein at least one illuminating unit (3) is disposed above each tray (12). 1 1. The cultivator (l) according to any one of claims 1 to 10, characterized by further comprising: a tank (13) for storing the nutrient solution for the plants.
