Abstract

Pulmoner yoldan (akciğerlere) verilmek üzere geliştirilen farmasötik formülasyon olup lipid matrisi içerisinde bir aktif madde parçacığına yer veren partiküllerden meydana gelmektedir. Aktif maddenin sudaki çözünürlüğü 1.0 mg/ml'den azdır. Bir uyarlamada, farmasötik formülasyondaki aktif madde parçacıklarının en az %90'ı 3 um'den küçük bir geometrik çapa sahiptir. Başka bir uyarlamada, çözünmez aktif madde amfoterisin B'yi içermektedir. Partiküller, aerosol halindeki farmasötik formülasyonun akciğerin derinliklerine kadar iletilmesini sağlayacak bir boyut ve şekle sahip olabilmektedir.
