Abstract
Bu bulus üst üste bindirilmis birkaç kattan olusan katli bir firinda indirgenmis demir üretimi ile ilgilidir; burada maden cevheri sürekli (kontinü) olarak katli ocaga beslemekte, en üst katta birikmekte ve tedricen alt katlara aktarilmaktadir ve indirgeme (redüksiyon) maddesi en üst katta ve/veya bunun hemen altindaki katlarda bulundurulmakta ve dogrudan indirgenmis demir olusturmak için maden cevheri ile reaksiyona (tepkimeye) sokulmaktadir. Dogrudan indirgenmis demir ve indirgeme maddesinin kalintilari ocagin en alt katinin yakinlarinda tahliye edilmektedir.
