Description
Изобретение относится к способам обработки труднообрабатываемых материалов с использованием смазочно-охлаждаюших жидкостей (СОЖ).The invention relates to methods for processing difficult materials using cutting fluids (coolant).
[1J .A known method of processing materials by cutting with the supply of cutting fluid, fluid into the cutting aeon, in which pressure pulses are generated in the coolant stream with a certain frequency [1J.
A disadvantage of the known method yavlya- 10 etsya low quality of the treated surface.
The aim of the invention is to improve the quality of the processed surface while improving chip- ) 5 crushing.
1 - 20This goal is achieved in that the pressure pulses in the coolant stream are selected on the order of 5-15 MPa with a frequency of 15 - 70 Hz and an energy of 1 - 20 in the pulse
100 J at a distance of 10 - 20 mm from the cutting zone.
.In FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram for creating pulsed electrical discharges in the coolant; in FIG. 2 - [histogram of changes in the components of the cutting force on the nature of the external environment. .
The proposed method is implemented as follows.
The electrodes are located in the coolant stream supplied to the cutting zone. When a high voltage pulse is determined by the parameters of the generator, a breakdown of the interelectrode gap occurs, which ends with the formation of a highly conductive channel. electrical discharge (CEP). In the formed KER for a very short period of time, calculated in microseconds, the energy accumulated by the capacitor bank is introduced. The substance in the CER is heated to a high temperature and a plasma is formed. Strong heating of the plasma causes a sharp increase in pressure in the channel, under the influence of which the channel expands, as a result of which a shock wave is formed. The energy of a shock wave is spent on overcoming resistance

5 На токарно-винторезном станке модели 16К20 осуществлялось несвободное резание стали ХН35ВТЮ резном из твердого сплава марки ВК60М с геометрическими параметрами: об = 8; οέ., = 8°;У = О ’ ; 10The method of processing materials by cutting was tested in the following experiment. 5 On the model 16K20 screw-cutting lathe, non-free cutting of KhN35VTYu steel carved from VKKМ grade alloy was performed with geometric parameters: rev = 8; οέ., = 8 °; Y = O ’; 10
1.Cp = 45 °; 20 °; Λ = O with a cutting speed of V = 25 m / min, with a feed of 5 = = 0.15 mm / rev and a cut thickness of t = 1.5 mm. Longitudinal turning was carried out with the addition of 5% aqueous coolant 15 NGL to the cutting eon -205. In the coolant supply stream near the cutting zone, pulsed electric discharges were generated with an energy of 15–20 J per pulse of a frequency of 8–10 H. As a generator of pulsed electric discharges, there was an installation consisting of an adjustable transformer (ΡΤρ) χ voltage transformer NOM-10-66 (Tr), a rectifier KU 201 E (V), a charging resistor PEV-75-10K (R), 25 capacitors K-75-22B-30 kv-0.25 microfarads (C) and switching air arrester (VR K ). Installation of B <jiex system elements is carried out with a low-inductance cable PK50-7-21 according to the electrical circuit shown in FIG. 1.
.The influence of the increased pulsed external coolant pressure on the degree of penetration of the coolant into the contact zone was evaluated by the change in the components of the cutting force 35, as well as by the appearance of the chips. The change in cutting force was recorded by a universal dynamometer of the UDM 600 model of the VNII design, the set and connection diagram of which are corresponding to; 40 have followed the instructions for use. .
The experiments were carried out in the following order. In the beginning, a dry flow * was carried out with a clean cutter of a dry billet. Then 45 5% aqueous coolant NGL 205 was fed into the cutting zone, and then until the end of the experiment the fluid supply was not interrupted. A few tens of seconds of cutting with coolant in the liquid jet near the cutting zone (about 15 mm) 50 ge- nerirovalis pulsed electric discharges. The cutting time with electric discharges in the coolant was about 1 min., After that, the supply of pulsed electric discharges was stopped. In this order, 55 without stopping the cutting, the source of pulsed electric discharging discharges was turned on and off several times, and a repeated decrease in the values of the cutting force components Cf z , Ρχ was observed — on average by 23–29%, and Ru — by 34–40%. When the generator of pulsed electric discharges was turned off, the values of the components of the cutting force increased to the previous level. The decrease in the components of the cutting force (Fig. 2) during the generation of pulsed electric discharges clearly shows an improvement in the penetration of coolant into the contact zone. After cutting, an analysis was made of the appearance of the cutter surface of the shavings, which showed that breaks were observed on the entire surface with a certain step corresponding to the discharge repetition rate. Between two adjacent breaks, there are two sections with different roughness: a section with a smooth shiny surface and a section with a greater roughness. Each of the sections is bounded on one side by a fracture crack, and on the other, by a transition zone of one roughness to the other. According to the created cracks, the chip easily breaks, which contributes to the formation of chip chips and thereby improve chip removal during cutting. Such a character of the cutter surface of the chips completely corresponds to the idea of improved coolant penetration at the moment of the peak of the shock wave in the contact zone of the tool with the chips and the part, and the combination of such pulsed injections. Coolant provides a general effect ( effect of the proposed method.
During technological tests of the proposed method, it was noted that an increase in the coolant pulse pressure is accompanied by a constant decrease in the cutting force components. Moreover, the greatest effectiveness of the influence of pulsed coolant pressure on a decrease in cutting force is observed in the pressure variation range of 5-15 MPa, depending on the specific pair of tool and processed materials. Coolant pulsed pressure below 5 MPa does not have a noticeable effect on the power factors of the cutting process, and above 15 MPa 'the cutting forces are reduced ; slightly. Obviously, when implementing this method in a production environment, one can limit oneself to a pulse coolant range of 5-15 MPa.
7It is known that the value of the average coefficient of friction for rubbing pairs is determined by the tendency to adhesive bond 7
986600 6 to the action of the processed and tool material. When cutting with liquid. • a bone that creates a boundary lubricating layer that reduces the adhesive action • the average friction coefficient 5 decreases, the contact of the chip with the front surface of the cutter becomes discrete.
35As already noted, alternating sections with different roughness, were found on the contact surface of the chip. the step of which corresponds to the pulse repetition rate. Obviously, shiny areas indicate the presence of a lubricating medium between the contact surfaces of 15 surfaces, and areas with significant roughness indicate traces of adhesive interaction. At a pulse frequency of less than 15 Hz, adhesive interaction will prevail (on the cutter surface 20 of the chip — areas with significant roughness) and the tool will wear out intensively. At a pulse repetition rate above 70 Hz, a lubricating medium will constantly be between the contacting surfaces of 2S. Shiny sections of the contact surface of the chips will overlap each other, so that a further increase in the frequency of generation of the pulse pressure is impractical. Thus to increase s the resistance of cutting tools and improve chip control is necessary to create the pressure surge with a frequency of 15 - 70 Cn. 35
During experimental verification of the proposed method, it was determined the optimal distance from the cutting aeon, equal to 10 - 20 mm, where the necessary impulse pressure is created. The location to the electrodes closer than 10 mm in the aeon of cutting, preferably, but due to technical! Its difficulties cannot be realized. At a distance of more than 20 mm, the shock wave weakens so much that the pulse pressure becomes insufficient to significantly increase the penetration of the medium into the microcapillary network in the contact zone between the chip tool and the workpiece.
_The energy in the pulse is an integral quantity and is determined by the parameters of the generator. It can be changed in a wide range (1-100 J) to obtain the required value of the pulse pressure. _
Thus, the proposed method improves the processing productivity, the resistance of the cutting tool and the quality of the machined surface while improving chip formation.
