Ligatures for modifying and alloying steel and cast iron 1 are known. The closest to the invention according to the technical essence and the result is the C2 modifier of the following composition, wt.%: Silicon 30-60 Manganese Up to 15 Calcium, barium Up to 15 Minimum 4 elements from the group: cerium, lanthanum, niobium, tantssh, vanadium, titanium, zirconium , aluminum bor20-40 IronOther The disadvantage of this modifier is that it is not very effective in modifying iron-carbon alloys, because it does not contain magnesium in its composition, it does not allow to reduce the sensitivity of the steel being treated to temper brittleness due to The presence and composition of the molene, in addition, entirely: because of the high content of aluminum in the alloy, it cannot be used to modify the acid etgshi, since it will form undesirable corundum nonmetallic inclusions, and because of the presence of boron in the alloy, it cannot be used for modifying a number of steels for power engineering, in particular, steels used in nuclear power engineering. The aim of the invention is to increase the efficiency of modification and improve the mechanical properties of the metal to be treated. The goal is achieved in that the modifier containing silicon, calcium, barium, rare earth metals, vanadium, titanium, aluminum and iron, additionally contains magnesium and molybdenum in the following ratio of components, res.%: Silicon30-60 Calcium 10.5-35 Barium0, 2-2 Rare-earth metals 0 1-5 Vanadium .0.3-3 Titanium0.5-4 Aluminum0.2-3 Magnesium0.3-2 Molybdenum 0.3-5 IronOther The ratio of elements in the proposed modifier is selected in such a way that provides high oxidation and modifying ability when machining steel. This modifier is intended for modifying general purpose steels, special alloys and cast iron. The modifier is obtained from the primary charge materials by a silicon recovery process. It has a sufficiently high brittleness and can be transferred to S granules of any razkerov put that crushing, Unlike silicon calcium and the known modifier, it has a higher modifying ability, moreover, it contributes to the production of fine microteria in the modified steel. The chemical composition of the known and proposed modifier is presented in table. 1. The content of non-metallic inclusions (LOT) and the mechanical properties of steel 17gc treated with the known and proposed modifier are presented in table. 2. As an impurity in the alloy, carbon can be contained in the amount of up to 0.5%, phosphorus up to 0.1%. The consumption of the alloy is 2-5 kg / t of steel. In an induction furnace, the proposed and known modifier is melted by fusing. These modifiers are tested on 17GS steel. The 17GS steel is smelted in an MGP-102 induction furnace with a capacity of 160 kg and after deoxidation of the entire aluminum smelting, the calculation is 1 kg / ton batch produced into ladles, from which 40 kg ingots are cast. In the process of metal production from the furnace to the ladle, steel is modified with alloys {see tab. 1) from the table of account 3 kg / t. From ingots, axial longitudinal and transverse templates are cut out to study the macrostructure, samples for metallographic analysis, and blanks for testing mechanical properties. After normalization of the blanks, tensile samples (4 pcs.) And toughness type 1 (rio 5 pcs. ). Studies show that the macrostructure of ingots treated with the proposed modifier is more dense compared to the macrostructure of an ingot modified by a known alloy. . The average results of tests of mechanical properties and determination of contamination of steel with nonmetallic inclusions (Ztom) carried out by method L in accordance with GOST 1778-: -70, are given in Table. 2. Steel 1TgS, treated with the # 1M modifier, has 1 times less pollution with non-metallic inclusions, 10-20% higher ductility and 20-30 impact strength at room temperature with slightly higher strength. The impact viscosity of the treated steel with the proposed modifier with a minus 1.5-2 times higher compared with steel treated with the same amount of a known modifier. We expect the economic effect due to the development of high-grade grades of alloyed steel, modified with the proposed composition, will be at least 4 rub / t. The expected economic effect during the processing of 300 thousand tons of iron ore equipment taking into account the costs of modifying at the rate of 1.5 rubles per ton of steel will be 300,000 x {4-1,5) 300,000 "2.5,750 thousand rubles.
