(54) POTENTIAL ENERGY OF WATER FLOW
I У//////У/////У/ //////// //////г /////// гThe invention relates to hydraulic engineering and can be used to pass water predominantly in high-pressure hydraulic systems. A water flow energy extinguisher is known, including pressure, supply and discharge conduits, and supply conduits with a twist of flow in one direction 1 are tangentially connected to the latter. A disadvantage of this device is the incomplete absorption of the flow energy due to the superposition of two one-directional vortices. A water flow energy absorber is also known, including a pressure conduit and supply water lines tangentially connected to a discharge conduit displaced along its length 2. However, a very intensive quenching of energy in this spillway leads to a significant increase in the value of pulsations of hydrodynamic pressure. This adversely affects the operating conditions of the spillway, reduces the reliability and durability of the structure, and also requires that it be relied on for significant dynamic loads, which is associated with additional investment. The purpose of the invention is to increase the reliability of operation by reducing the pulsations of hydrodynamic pressure. This goal is achieved by the fact that the outlet openings of the supply conduits are made elongated along the axis of the diverting conduit with a ratio of the length to the width of the wider or equal to two. FIG. 1 shows a side view of a water flow energy absorber; in fig. 2 shows section A-A in FIG. one; in fig. 3 shows a section BB in FIG. one; in fig. 4 shows a section B-B in FIG. 1. The spillway device includes a pressure water conduit 1 supply conduits 2 and 3, Diverting conduit 4. The ratio of the length to the width of the outlet openings of the supply conduits is more than two. Spillway device operates as follows. The water through the pressure conduit 1 is supplied to the supply conduit 2 and the conduit 4 enters the MSW 1, in which it is twisted. The swirling flow is directed along the longitudinal axis of the diverting conduit 4 and meets with the flow exiting the supply conduit 3. In this case, the velocity vectors of the occurring flows are directed towards each other, which is the reason for the energy loss. Since the initial swirling flow, formed over a large length of the diverting water source 4, has a greater mass and energy compared to the counterflow, in the initial part of their interaction the swirling flow loses some part of the rotational energy and, therefore, further into the outgoing conduit 4 receives the total swirling flow formed by the interacting flows. As the swirling flow advances along the longitudinal axis of the diverting conduit 4, the interaction of the opposing flows continues and the swirling intensity gradually fades out. At the end of the interaction region, the twist is completely quenched and the flow rates become axial. Such interaction of the fluxes makes it possible to obtain effective and smooth energy quenching at the extended part of the diverting conduit 4, which provides a significant reduction in the magnitude of the hydrodynamic pressure pulsations.
