Description
(54) SECTIONAL CAPACITIVE POTENTIAL INSULATOR The invention relates to electrical engineering, in particular to electrical insulators intended for use in the construction of high voltage generators, accelerators of charged particles and in other installations of high vacuum and ultra high voltage. High-voltage insulators of HZ are known in which, in order to reduce the effect of total voltage and limit the path of propagation of partial discharge in dielectric, the separation of the insulator body into sections is used, i.e. alternating dielectric and conductive layers. The disadvantage of this design is the uneven distribution of potential. This disadvantage is eliminated by using forced distribution with capacitors connected in parallel to the isolator sections. Improving the distribution of potential leads to an increase in size and complexity of the design. A partitioned insulator 12 with a capacitive potential distribution is known, which is a set of capacitor sections. In this isoigigore, a reduction in size is ensured by eliminating the external capacitors connected in parallel to each insulator section. A uniform potential distribution is provided by changing the surface of the capacitor plates, which are conductive words alternating with insulating layers. The disadvantages of this design include its complexity, which characterizes the fact that the conductive layers for each section have individual dimensions, and an increase in the area of the conductive layers leads to an increase in the dimensions of the insulator. The aim of the invention is to design a capacitor with capacitive voltage distribution, which is simplified by construction. This goal is achieved by the fact that in a well-known sectioned insulator with an ecc bone potential distribution, which consists of alternating insulating and electrically (H1 conductor of $ 151 of their layers, the insulating layers are made of materials with different dielectric constant. The work of the proposed device is based on the principle of field distortion caused by a combination of at least two insulating media with different dielectric constants,
1.The design of the proposed isolator is shown in FIG. one.
The insulator consists of insulating layers 1-5, separated by electrically conductive layers 6. The insulating layers are made of materials having different dielectric constant i, which was chosen by calculating the replacement electric circuit, based on the required distribution of the potential Torah.
An example of a specific implementation. The calculation was made, the outcome of the replacement scheme for a particular design of a partitioned insulator consisting of five sections (Fig. 1) .. Electrical engineering porcelain was used as the material for the insulating layer of the first section; for the second, polymethyl methacrylate 3.9, for the third, fourth, and fifth, is polyethylene with p 2.2. Kirchhoff's equations were used in the calculations. The calculation results are shown in FIG. 2, curve a. As can be seen from the potential distribution in a partitioned isolator, the design is close to uniform - (Fig. 2) is curve C.
В случае выполнени аналогично секционированного изол тора, в котором изол ционные слои изготовлены из материала с одинаковым €:, например полиэтилена , крива распределени потенциала по длине изол тора имеет, более резкий спад на секци х, прилежащих к высоковольтной части изол тора (фиг, 2 , крива S).In the case of a similarly partitioned insulator, in which the insulating layers are made of a material with the same €: e.g. polyethylene, the potential distribution curve along the length of the insulator has a sharper drop in sections adjacent to the high-voltage part of the insulator (Fig. 2 curve S).
As mentioned above, usually in this part of the insulator there is a drop to 35% of the total voltage.
The proposed insulator makes it possible to ensure the distribution of the potential, which is close to uniform, but leads to a complication of the structure and an increase in its dimensions.
Thus, the proposed insulator has the following advantages; it has a simpler design, since the dimensions of the conductive layers along the insulator length do not change: this ensures their interchangeability; the dimensions of the insulator can be reduced, since there are no parts in the insulator that affect its transverse size.
