Description
The invention relates to thermal * processing of metals, in particular to thermomechanical processing.
Известен способ комбинированной термомеханической обработки, при котором деформацию после аустенизации проводят частично в промежуточной области его метастабильной устойчивости [ 1] .A known method of combined thermomechanical processing, in which the deformation after austenization is carried out partially in the intermediate region of its metastable stability [1].
The disadvantages of this method are its suitability only for steels with high stability of supercooled austenite, the need to use powerful equipment to obtain high compressions, and the need for additional heat treatment.
1 [2].A known method of heat treatment of iron-carbon alloys, including thermal cycling near the point AC 1 [2].
However, in the indicated method, an increase in mechanical properties is determined mainly by refinement of the structure, while the saturation of the crystal lattice with deformation defects due to phase hardening is not high enough, which does not allow to realize the potential possible high-strength state of the alloys.
The purpose of the invention is to increase the mechanical properties of iron-carbon alloys due to a combination of positive structural changes in hot and semi-hot deformation and thermocyclic treatment, to reduce the processing time by increasing the strength of hardening, and to reduce the deformation force due to the use of fractional deformation.
To achieve this goal, in each cycle, the alloy is subjected to deformation in the austenitic – ferritic region and in the pearlite transformation region.
The drawing shows a diagram illustrating the proposed method.
5.The scheme includes a sample 1, a stamp 2 with a removable bottom plate 3, a punch 4 and a heating device 5.
Sample 1 is placed in stamp 2 and, during heating and cooling, about 25 Ac points are deformed by punch 4 in each half-cycle: in the austenitic-ferritic region and during pearlite transformation. In this case, double deformation causes an intense 30 saturation of the structure with deformation defects in each half-cycle. A superposition of structural changes significantly inhibits the development of recrystallization processes and allows one to achieve high values of the mechanical properties of the alloys being processed with a simultaneous reduction in the number of heating and cooling. High total deformation is achieved due to repeated deformation to a relatively small degree of deformation, which allows to reduce the deformation force.
The proposed method is tested on samples of steel 45 with dimensions 16 * 40 mm. The samples are subjected to heating at 3040 ° C above the Ac ^ point and cooling to 15 50-60 ° C below the Ar ^ point with a heating and cooling rate of 100 ° C / min and deformation of 10%, with a strain rate of 1.5''' 1 in each cycle in the austenitic-ferritic region and by 20 the same degree of deformation in the pearlite transformation region. The maximum properties of the sample are achieved after two thermal cycles with deformation. Re-use of the proposed method will improve the mechanical properties of the alloys, reduce and intensify the hardening process, reduce the resistance to deformation due to fractional deformation. In essence, the method is a combination of the manufacturing process of the part with the final heat treatment, which is very advantageous from the point of view of engineering technology.
Testing the method on matrix inserts for half-hot extrusion of 40X steel bushings shows an increase in matrix resistance from 3 to 4.8 thousand pieces. products.
