Description
(54) OPTICAL GLASS
The invention relates to a glass composition used in the manufacture of road signs for mobile roads, railway signs, souvenirs. Optical glass l is known, comprising: wt.%: PHO50-55 CdO 9-11: ZMO10-15 5iOi8-11 TiOi 57 GeOa € 10 The closest to the invention is optical glass 2, containing, wt%: 5lO2 46 -61; 20; La205 1-8; PEO 0.5-15, 3.57; NaaO 6-16, TajOg 0-7.5; ZrO.i.O-4, W) - 0-3; BaO 0-5; ZnO 0-5; MgiO 0-5; CaO 0-5; K, O 0-6; Tio ,. 0-4; P2O50-3 BjOa 0-5. These glasses have a refractive index of not more than 2.1. The purpose of the invention is to increase the refractive index. To achieve this goal, the composition has a composition, wt.%: PbO70-75 AKaO 7-10 BOO-3-8 Ti0210-15 suspended components in certain quantities are mixed in an agate mortar by the method (in alcohol) for 30-40 minutes, then the alcohol is removed by drying at 60-70 ° C. The resulting mixture is poured into corundum crucibles and loaded into an electric furnace. Cooking is carried out at 125 ° -130 ° C, with a supernatant at a maximum temperature of 1 hour. To obtain finely shattered glass, the molten glass is poured into a metal vessel with cold water. The light refractive index of glass and microspheres was determined using immersion liquids with known light refractive index values on a MIN-8 microscope. The value obtained is in the range of 2.10-2.20. The proposed glass contains no toxic and expensive components. The table shows the composition and properties of the proposed-ffijx glasses.
