Description
The invention relates to a drying technique, more specifically to drum dryers. Drum dryers are widely used in engineering, in particular in road construction equipment. Drum dryers require higher heat input to ensure their higher productivity. Therefore, they are completely heated either by fire or directly by the flame of the burners inserted into the drying drum or by the introduction of hot gases from a special furnace into the drying drum. However, this method of heating dramatically increases the removal of a portion of the material from the dryer drum, which causes the need for dust removal equipment, thereby increasing material loss and disrupting its particle size distribution. Dryers are known, containing rotating rollers, to the inner surface of which heat pipes attached along one another are adjacent to each other, and the evaporation zones of the heat pipes are moved beyond the rollers and equipped with electric heaters. A disadvantage of these dryers is that the heat to be dried material is transferred only from the internal surfaces of the rollers, which reduces the efficiency of the drying process, as well as the fact that the removal of a part of the pipes beyond the limits of the rollers causes constructive difficulties resulting from otneniem last. Known drum dryers, and which the drum is enclosed in a coaxial heat pipe filled with coolant, for example, sulfur. The mixing device of the drum is made in the form of tubes installed at an angle to the axis of the drum, connected to the heat pipe by means of radial nozzles, which together with the tubes form its condensation zone. In the walls of the pipe there are slots in which the fl.-Dunn's wicks are placed; the dryer is, by its technical essence, closest to that described. The dimensions of the drums, the most common in the present time dryers, reach a diameter of 2.2 m, a length of 11 m, and a volume of 41.7 m, and there is a tendency to increase these sizes when creating new,
Constructing a heat pipe of such dimensions that would be able to accommodate such drums presents significant technical difficulties. It should be borne in mind that it is difficult to ensure the tightness of such a pipe, in which, moreover, the evaporation part is located around the drum, and the condensation part is in the form of an extensive network of pipes and nozzles inside the drum; the difficulty of creating in it the vacuum necessary for the normal operation of the heat pipe, the difficulty in providing the necessary strength of the pipe in case of an increase in not excessive pressure, which, depending on the selected operating conditions, can reach tens and hundred atmospheres. In case of depressurization of such a heat pipe, it is possible that the entire volume of the heat transfer fluid contained in it may erupt, which can lead to significant material losses. is impossible. The presence of a wick in a heat pipe, on the one hand, complicates its design, on the other hand, creates additional heat coupling, even if it is difficult to achieve good contact of the entire surface of the wick with the walls of the heat pipe. This pipe is heated by flue gases that enter the casing surrounding the heat pipe. The huge casing dissipates a significant amount of heat before it reaches the heat pipe, since its surface is larger than the surface of the heat pipe and a much larger temperature gradient on its surface.
A disadvantage of the existing heat pipe dryer is that water vapor is removed from the same end of the drum as the dry material. Experiments show that in this case, secondary moistening of the dried material may occur.
The purpose of the present invention is to simplify the design and improve the design and economy.
This goal is achieved by the fact that the drum is divided by a transverse partition into isolated drying and heating sections and heat pipes passed through this partition, the condensation zone of the heat pipes is located in the drying section of the drum, the evaporation window is combined with the loading pipe , moreover, the heat pipes are installed in the direction of the heating section of the drum, are made autonomous and fixed in the partition and
в торцовой стенке сушильной секции барабана.in the end wall of the drying section of the drum.
The drawing shows a dryer for bulk materials with a partial ryrezom its walls, a general view. The dryer contains a rotating drum 1, heat pipes 2, a heating section 3 and a drying section
3.4, separated by a partition 5, a loading bucket 6, with a loading nozzle 7, combined with an outlet for water vapor, and a discharge nozzle 8. Heat pipes 2 pass through the partition 5, are fixed in it and the end wall of the drying section 4 of the drum, and are inclined towards the heating section 3.
The dryer works as follows.
The drum 1 is rotated. From any source, heat energy is supplied to the heating section 3, in which the evaporation zone of the heat pipes 2 is placed. Through pipes 2, energy is transferred to the drying section 4. Upon reaching the
По мере продвижени материал тер ет влагу, иsection 4 of the required temperature, the bulk material is captured by the bucket 6 and is poured through the nozzle 7 into the drying section 4 of the drum 1. As the drum 1 rotates, the material is poured over the condensation zone of the heat pipes 2 and advances to the discharge nozzle 8. As as the material progresses, it loses moisture, and
8.the water vapor produced in this way is removed from the drum 1 through the outlet port, combined with the loading nozzle 7, and the dried material is poured out through the nozzle 8.
Due to this design, the dryer proposed does not require the use of large heat pipes, even if the dryer is very large. The heat pipe of such a dryer can have a simple configuration and have a diameter small enough to ensure the simplicity of its manufacture, the creation of a vacuum in it, and the sufficient strength of the walls to withstand considerable pressures. The safety of operation is ensured by the small size of the pipes and the fact that they are inside the dryer drum, so that rupture or depressurization of one of the heat pipes cannot lead to dangerous consequences, and
Надежностьa sufficient number of heat pipes, even almost does not affect the operation of the dryer. It is easy to find a faulty heat pipe by a different thermal condition than a good one. Reliability
сушилки повышаетс еще и тем, чтоdryers are further enhanced by the fact that
