Description
5-7The invention relates to metallurgy, in particular, to the search for complete microadditives in liquid iron, designed to improve the performance characteristics of marine diesel engine parts, specifically, cylinder liners. A known ligature of pig iron containing, in wt.%: Calcium Silicon Iron Sodium However, a known ligature does not both ensure the introduction of a complex of ligating elements in the required quantities to obtain a hard cast iron structure. The absence of phosphorus in the ligature does not allow Aluchit iron with the presence of wear-resistant double phosphyl eutectics in the structure. The closest in technical essence and the achieved effect to the proposed is ligature (cast iron of the following composition, wt.%: 0.1-10 0.1-2.5 Carbon Silicon Vanadium Nickel Iron RestLigature fusible, well digested, but not sufficiently improves the mechanical properties and wear resistance of cast iron. In addition, the ligature has a high cost, since it contains in large quantities expensive and scarce elements, like nickel and vanadium. The purpose of the invention is to increase the wear resistance and mechanical properties of cast iron. It is achieved by the fact that the ligature additionally contains manganese, phosphorus, calcium, molybdenum, titanium, yttrium in the following ratio of components, wt.%: Copper35-40 Silicon 15-20 Manganese 6-10 Phosphorus 5-8 Chrome 5-7

The ligature is melted in an ILT-type induction furnace at 1510-1520 ° C. The temperature of the smelting is controlled by a thermocouple immersion of the PP group. The casting is performed on a cast-iron plate with a layer of 15-20 mm. The ligature is crushed into granules of 10–12 mm and injected into the cupola iron on the trough at a metal temperature of 13bO-1380 ° C in an amount of 1.5% of the liquid iron.
1.The chemical composition of α-molten ligat is given in Table 1.
2.The chemical composition and properties of cast iron, obtained with the use of the proposed alloy, in comparison with the known are given in table 2.
The ligature consumption is 15 kg per ton of molten iron.
50-2.Testing of mechanical properties is carried out according to GST 1412-72, wear-resistant properties are checked on a CM2-2 friction machine according to a roller-block scheme at a friction speed of 1 m / s, a pressure of 80 kgf / cm and boundary lubrication with oil M12v2, a counter-body cast iron HF 50-2.
Cast iron obtained using the proposed master alloy has the highest mechanical and wear-resistant properties.
