Description
The invention relates to the production of stabilized polymers. The predominant field of use is the preparation of stabilized polyamides, including polycaproamide and an inhibitor of thermal-oxidative degradation. The composition can be used in the production of synthetic yarns based on polycaproamide, as well as in the manufacture of products for various purposes based on polycaproamide.
The known method of thermal stabilization of polyamides by introducing into them as stabilizers metal-containing compounds, in particular copper acetate [1]. However, as a thermostabilizer, copper acetate is not characterized by high enough efficiency and is made of polyamide when treated with water.
The known method of thermal stabilization of polyamides, in which the copper salt of a copolymer of methyl acrylate and acrylic acid (Cu — M — 1) is used as a stabilizer [2]. However, the addition of this salt during the polyamidation reaction leads to the formation of crosslinks, which significantly impairs the fiber-forming properties of polycaproamide, i.e., the ability of the polymer to be processed into yarn. After warming up (200 ° С, 2 h), preservation of strength

There is also a known method of thermostabilization of polyamides by the introduction of a copper-containing complex of the triisoindopenzene macrocyclic (stabilized-9) complex. unstable properties. The closest to the invention is a method of thermostabilization of polyamide by introducing in the process of its synthesis from 15 caprolactam 0.05–0.5% by weight of the last copper-containing polymer complex of the general formula

However, after heating the polyamide filament at 25–200 ° C for 2 h, 93% of its strength before extraction and 80% after it are retained.

зации полиамида вводят в процессе его синтеза из капролактама 0,05—0,5% от массы последнего медный хелат полиамидогидразида (СиПаГ) формулыin the process of its synthesis from caprolactam 0.05–0.5% by weight of the latter, the copper chelate of polyamide hydrazide (CipaG) of the formula
When η 40 sipag does not exhibit heat-stabilizing properties. The use of CPAG with n> 120 does not make sense, since the heat stabilizing effect does not increase, and obtaining a polymer of such molecular weight is technologically difficult due to a significant increase in the viscosity of the reaction solution of CNG.
CAP is obtained by the following method.
The reaction solution of polyamide hydrazide based on l-aminobenzoic acid hydrazide and terephthalic acid dichlorohydride in Ν,-dimethyl acetamide is diluted to a concentration of 1 wt. % polymer and mixed with an equal amount of a 1.5% solution of CuCl 2 in dimethylformamide with 8% triethylamine. The precipitated copper chelated polyamide hydrazide is washed with dimethylformamide, water and dried in vacuum at 100 ° C. The obtained CIPP is a fine powder of dark brown color.
Despite the fact that the stabilizer is colored, its introduction into the polymer in the specified amount (0.05–0.5% by weight of the lactam) does not lead to the color of the filaments formed from it.
Unlike the copper compound, pure polyamidohydrazide does not exhibit thermostable properties due to its poor compatibility with polycaproamide.
CAP is injected before polyamidation in solid form.
The polymer and the filament in the presence of CIG retains its heat-stabilizing properties even after water treatments.
The method is illustrated by the following examples and table.
Polycaproamide stabilized with solid CPG, which is injected before polyamidation (260 ° C, 8 hours in a nitrogen atmosphere) in an amount of 0.05% by weight of lactam, is obtained in a laboratory microinstallation. From the obtained polymer, a monofilament is formed on a microstep, then it is heated in an atmosphere of air at 200 ° C for 2 h and the strength is retained after heat treatment. The heat resistance of the thread is 98% (sig with n = 100).

Under conditions similar to example Ί, a polymer and a filament are obtained at a Cu PAG concentration of 0.5% by weight of the lactam. Thermal stability of monofilament 94% (sig with n = 120).
68%.Example 4. Under conditions analogous to example 1, get the polymer and the thread when the concentration of CPAP 0.02% by weight of lactam. Monofilament in the presence of the tested concentration of the additive does not have the required (not less than 75%) stabilizing efficiency. Heat resistance 68%.
Example 5. Under conditions analogous to example 1, get the polymer and the thread with polyamidehydrazide (PAG) at a concentration of 0.25% by weight of the lactam. The resulting monofilament does not withstand heat treatment (200 ° C, 2 h) and is destroyed. The addition of CNCP significantly impairs the ability of polycaproamide to be processed into filament.
95%.Example 6. Polycaproamide monofilament obtained in Example 2 is treated with boiling water for 1 hour. The dried filament thus treated and tested for heat resistance. The heat resistance of the thread after hot water treatment is 95%.
The effectiveness of SPPG, used as a heat stabilizer of polycaproamide monofilament, is given in the table.
Thus, the proposed stabilizer significantly increases the efficiency of thermal stabilization of polyamides, has a greater resistance to the action of water treatments.
