Description
The invention relates to the refractory industry and can be used to make dense ceramics, for example vacuum dense solid electrolytes from stabilized zirconia for electrochemical systems. A known method of preparing the material for the manufacture of dense refractory products, which consists in grinding the original mixture in a vibrating mill. The disadvantage of this method is that, when ground in a vibromilling mill, particles of predominantly mono-fractional composition are formed which do not provide dense packing of particles in the molded product and do not allow creating a vacuum-tight structure of the finished product. The use of three-fractional composition of the charge allows to significantly improve the properties of ceramics. The closest technical solution to the invention is the method of preparing materials for making dense ceramics, including co-precipitating the components from a salt solution, roasting the powder and wet grinding it in a ball mill, followed by molding and sintering the ceramic products. The disadvantage of this method is that it is impossible to obtain crushed material with an optimal poly-fractional composition due to the fact that the material of a mono-fractional composition is used for grinding, and the grinding of the material is long-term due to the high strength of the aggregates obtained by calcining the powders. The purpose of the invention is to increase the density of the products and reduce the grinding time. For this, the coprecipitated mixture of cases is divided into three parts, the first and second proc. Are poured over 2 hours at 1250 ° ± 10 ° C and 1050 + 20 ° C, respectively, and the third — for 6 hours at 870 + 20 ° C, and before grinding mix the calcined powder in the ratio of 59-61 wt.% the first part, 14-16% of the second part and 24-26% - the third part. Carrying out the calcination at the indicated temperatures makes it possible to obtain a polyfractional composition of the charge, which ensures a tight packing of the particles during molding. The optimal composition was obtained from 60 May.7, particles calcined at 1250 C (size 2 μm), from 15% by weight calcined at 1050 ° С (size 0.6 μm) and 25 parts by weight% calcined at 870 ° C (size 0.15 µm). The powders calcined to different temperatures with an aggregate size from 0.2 to 3 µm at the same time are simultaneously destroyed to a certain size of crystallites, which provide the polyfractive composition of the powder, and consumed to obtain a powder material of polyfractional composition, significantly less than with separate grinding raw powder calcined at one temperature. The grinding time of the proposed method is 1 / 3-1 / 4 of the time grinding by a known method. The resulting material has a certain crystallite size, so when loading the grinding unit it is possible to calculate which powders with a known specific surface should be loaded to obtain a material after grinding with an optimal polyfractional composition. Example. 10 liters of a solution containing zirconium chloride and yttrium chloride with a ZrOj concentration of 280 g / l and 43 g / l are poured into a container with 13 l of ammonia solution with constant stirring. The resulting suspension is filtered on a vacuum inside filter and the filtered mass is dried at 180 ° C for 72 hours. The dried material is calcined as follows. The process takes 60 wt.% At 1250 ° C for 2 h (up to a crystallite size of 2 μm), 15% at 1050 C for 2 h (up to a crystallite size of 0.6 μm) and 25% at 870 C for 6 h (up to the crystallite size of 0.1 5 μm). For the taken oxide composition, the specified ratio of powders (60:15:25) provides a dense packing of the particles. Powders in the specified ratio are loaded into a metal mill and milled for 20 hours at a ratio of - material: balls: water 1: 2: 1. Material readiness is determined by sieving samples. After grinding, the material is removed with hydrochloric acid from
1.ground iron and brought to a consistency of the slip with a density of 2.4 g / cm and pH -1.
From the prepared slip, the plaster molds are molded into tubes with a wall thickness of 1 mm, a diameter of 12 mm and a length of 200 mm, which are then burned in a gas furnace at 1600 ° C.
Усадка изделий при обжиге составл ет 17,5% плотности материала в издели х , полученных по предлагаемому способу, - 5,61 г/см .The shrinkage of the products during firing is 17.5% of the density of the material in the products obtained by the proposed method, 5.61 g / cm.
Сравнительные испытани показали, что из изделий, изготовленных по известному способу, вакуум-плотными вл ютс только 70% изделий, в то врем как издели , изготовленные согласно изобретению, все вакуум-плотные .Comparative tests have shown that only 70% of products are vacuum-dense from products made according to a known method, while products made according to the invention are all vacuum-dense.
Using the proposed method allows to obtain more dense
Повьшгение вакуум-плотности изделий увеличивает надежность их в работе.product (5.61 g / cm) compared to 5.26 g / cm by a known method due to the optimal polyfractional composition of the powders. Povshhenie vacuum density products increases their reliability in the work.
This method is simple to implement and does not require special costs for its implementation. In the process, the energy costs of calcining the powders are reduced as part of the powders is calcined at lower temperatures. In addition, reducing the grinding time also reduces the energy costs of grinding. In the finished material, by shortening the grinding time, the iron is significantly reduced, which allows speeding up the washing of the ground iron.
