Description
The invention relates to the field of electrothermal and can be used in electric heating thermal units, mainly with oxygen-containing gaseous media. Rod heating elements manufactured on the basis of high-refractory oxide materials are known, containing a cylindrical resistive element connected to the current leads at the ends, made of ThO2 with two thickenings at the ends of ZrOg U1. The heating element operates as follows. The vertically mounted resistive element with the dimi clamped to the current lead is preheated to a temperature at which the ceramics of the heating element becomes sufficiently conductive, and then an alternating electric current is passed through the resistive element to obtain the required temperatures. The disadvantage of such a heating element is low cryostubeiness, insufficient mechanical strength and radioactivity of the material of the resistive element. The closest to the technical essence of the present invention are heating elements containing a resistive element in the form of a parallelepiped, made of stabilized zirconium dioxide, with one heating surface, provided with cooling notches oriented parallel to the heating surface. . The location of the cuts provides a constant increase in the effective working section from the central part of the resistive element to the current leads, which are placed in the body of the heater 12. Known heating element works as follows. The resistive element assembled with current-conducting electrodes is preheated to the temperature at which the 3neMef resistive ceramics becomes sufficiently conductive, and then an alternating electric current is passed through the resistive element by heating it directly to the required temperatures. At the same time, cooling cuts contribute to the creation of a temperature gradient in the longitudinal and transverse sections
резистивного элемента и частично преп тствуют прохождению электрического тока. resistive element and partially prevent the passage of electric current.
A disadvantage of heating elements of this type is the low cooling efficiency of the non-working surface due to small temperature gradients in cross sections of the resistive element along its thickness and the resulting lack of creep resistance of the heating elements: which at the same time has uneven Temperatures on the heat-developing working surface. In this connection, the operation of such heating elements is carried out at temperatures below 1800 C.
The purpose of the present invention is to increase the creep resistance of the high temperature heating element during operation.
This goal is achieved by the fact that the resistive element on the side of the lying heating surface, along the entire length, except for the current-carrying portions, is made with a thickening, in which cooling notches extend in the direction of its thickness in rows, depth equal to its thickness, and in each row between the cuts there are jumpers in the chessboard. | These cuts are made in the form of rectangular grooves or in the form of cylindrical recesses.
Cooling cutouts made in the form of rectangular grooves or cylindrical depressions help to push the electrical forces of BfcJx lines to the working surface with a significant temperature gradient across the thickness of the resistive element, and the material frame formed by the cutouts and jumpers additionally increases the creep tolerance of the heating element at high temperatures work. : - .... --... (Fig. E).
High-temperature heating element operates as follows.
The resistive element assembled with the current-carrying electrodes is preheated to a temperature where the ceramic of the resistive element becomes electrically conductive enough, then an alternating electric current is passed through the resistive element by heating it directly to the required temperatures on the working surface. The cooling cuts, with their location and orientation, prevent the electric current from passing through the thickening and squeeze the electric lines of force to the working surface. A large temperature gradient is created in the cross section of the heating resistive element and, due to stiffening ribs having low temperatures, the creep resistance of the heating element is improved.
The proposed heating element is characterized by low creep, due to the low temperatures of the outer surface of the stiffeners at the highest operating temperatures of the heating element, which are achieved thanks to. concentration of electric current at the working surface of the resistive element. The creation of separate current-carrying blocks of ceramic plates provides a large economic effect, achieved by means of a 3-shift plate on current leads.
