Предлагаемое изобретение касаетс  способа получени  защитного сло  на железных, стальных или чугунных издели х путём химической обработки их растворами нитратов при температуре не выше 115°.The present invention relates to a method for producing a protective layer on iron, steel or cast iron products x by chemical treatment with nitrate solutions at a temperature not higher than 115 °.

Способ состоит в том, что в нитратную ванну ввод т хромовую соль органической или неорганической кислоты совместно с хроматом щелочного металла. При этом поверхность изделий облагораживаетс , принимает красивую окраску в глубоко чёрный цвет и приобретает большую устойчивость к коррозии.The method consists in introducing the chromic salt of an organic or inorganic acid together with an alkali metal chromate into the nitrate bath.
