Между накладками 2 имеютс  искровые промежутки 9, которые образуютс , например, вкладышами 10 в Л -образных ребрах 3. Искровые промежутки изолируют накладки одна от другой, но не преп тствуют прохождению токов молнии. При такой конструкции обтекател  наиболее веро тны удары молнии в ребра 3 накладок 2, а удары в перемычки менее веро тны и не опасны, так как щели 5 антенн в этом случае не повреждаютс , а ток молнии через корпус 1 внутрь обтекател  не проходит и не разрушает его. Ожоги и даже прожоги отверстий в накладках не вывод т из стро  и практически не ухудшают работу молниезащитного устройства и антенн . Веро тность же удара молнии через диэлектрик корпуса 1 мимо токопровод щих накладок 2 в удаленные металлические части самолета близка к нулю.The radar antennas (not shown) have windows 6 and 7.
