In order to increase the sensitivity of the differential protection, in the proposed device of differential protection of the electrical installation, the intermediate transformers of the braking unit are equipped with additional secondary windings, the main ones being combined with the same name, and the additional opposite terminals, and connected to the rectifier bridges connected oppositely. In such a differential protection device, in the event of damage on a protected electrical installation, the current at the output of the braking unit is either absent or directed in the opposite direction to braking. Sensitivity is achieved without significantly complicating the protection scheme. The drawing shows the principle of the electrical circuit of the described device for differential protection of a double-winding transformer. At the ends of the protected transformer 1, current transformers 2 are included, the secondary windings of which are connected for the circulation of currents. An intermediate transformer 3 with two secondary windings is included in the differential protection circuit. The rectifying bridge 4 is connected to one of them, the output of which includes the reacting body 5 so that the rectified current acts on its disconnection. To the other winding of the transformer through the filter 6 which separates the second current harmonic, another rectifying bridge 7 is connected, connected to organ 5, so that the rectified current acts in the direction of deceleration. Transformers 8 and 9, also having two secondary windings, are included in each protection arm. One pair of windings 10 and 11 is connected according to. In parallel, they include a rectifying bridge 12, which also creates a braking current in the regulating body 5. Another pair of windings 13 and 14 is connected to each other, and parallel to them is connected bridge 15 connected to organ 5 according to bridge 4 and counter to bridge 7 and 1 The secondary windings of transformers 8 and 9 are the same. This ensures that the voltages and currents at the output of bridges 12 and 15 are equal in case of internal damage in case of unilateral power supply. With external damage, the current at the output of bridges 4 and 15 is due to the imbalance of currents Jj and J flowing in the arms of protection, and the current at the output of bridge 12 is the sum of these currents. The resulting current in the organ 5 is directed in the direction of deceleration. In case of damage within the area covered by the protection, in the case of two-way power supply, the currents at the output of bridges 4 and 15 are equal to the fault current, and at the output of the bridge, 12 currents are unbalanced. The braking effect of the latter with a margin is overlapped by the output current of bridge 15, which leads to an increase in the sensitivity of protection. The tests carried out confirmed the possibility of achieving a higher sensitivity of the described differential protection device in comparison with the known protection devices. In addition, this invention simplifies the operation and design of differential protection.
