Головки 3 11 4 соединены через усилители-ограничители S и Р и частотные детекторы 10 и 11 с блоком 12 вычитани , подключенным к блоку 13 регистрации. Колебани  ленты 5 вдоль направлени  ее движени  создают в головках 3 и 4 сигналы одного знака , а колебани  поперек этого направлени  - сигналы разных знаков.
