При уборке обычными жатвенными и снопов зальными машинами с полей созревших метелок сем н, например,свекловичных высадок, происходит громадна  потер  сем н и притом самых лучших, сортов. Происходит это потому, что степень зрелости сем н идет от низа метелки к ее вершине и когда такова  считаетс  практически готовой к жатве, то нижние семена  вл ютс  уже перезревшими и слабо держатс  на своих стебл х.
