Description
The invention relates to the purification of industrial gases from dust "by the dry method.
A filter for cleaning gases is known, which contains a shelf of louvers, between which a filtering granular layer of magnetic material is placed. The filter layer must be made of granules (grains) of relatively large size (in order to avoid entrainment by the gas to be filtered). The latter circumstance leads to the fact that the efficiency of granular filters (especially on fine dust) usually does not exceed 89--94%. In many cases, such efficacy is clearly insufficient.
The purpose of the invention is to create a granular filter design that, at a high filtration rate, provides greater efficiency (degree of gas purification) than conventional filters by preventing the flow of magnetic particles from the filter layer.
For this, it is proposed to use a filtering layer of small (1-2 mm) particles with magnetic properties, and a louver grille, whose shelves are connected to an electromagnet.
The shelves 1 of the blinds are connected by a stand 2 to one end of the stern n 3 electromagnet 4. The shelves 5 are connected to the other end of the electromagnet rod via stand b, and gaskets 7 of nonmagnetic material are installed on the opposite ends of the shelves 5. Details 1, 2, 5 6 blinds are made of a material having magnetic properties. The intensity of the magnetic field, the distance between the louvre shelves and some other lattice parameters are determined in each particular case depending on the material of the filter layer 8 and the operating conditions of the filter.
Jalousie lattice works as follows.
When the electromagnet is turned on by the shelves of the louver grille, a magnetic field arises, which along with the forces of gravity and friction (adhesion) holds particles of the filter layer there. This additional (magnetic) force allows, other things being equal (particle size and density of particles, etc.), to increase the filtration rate or, which is especially important, to reduce the size of the granules (particles) forming the filter layer. In the latter case, the effect will increase. As the proposed filter is designed to trap non-magnetic mud, the magnetic field does not affect the dust, which can therefore be distributed throughout the depth of the filter layer. Dust collection occurs as in a conventional granular filter due to the forces of inertia, gravity and diffusion of particles.
Таким образом, особенностью предлагаемой конструкции зернистого фильтра вл етс то, что магнитное поле используетс не дл улавливани пыли, а лишь дл дополнительного удержани частиц фильтровального сло .Thus, a feature of the proposed granular filter design is that the magnetic field is not used to trap dust, but only to further retain the particles of the filter layer.
