Description
A known method of cleaning gas from various hydrocarbon impurities, such as circulating gas in the production of polyethylene, by passing the gas through adsorbents, nanor-Mer molecular sieves.
According to the proposed method, in order to increase the degree of o-cleansing of the gas, as well as reduce its cleaning time, either generator slag, or coke, or pumice stone, or metal-ceramic slavas are used as adsorbent. It is possible to use an adsorbent with pa3MepOiM grains from 3 to 100 mm, for example, from 10 to 30 mm.
Example 1. Through an adsorption column with a height of 8000 mm and an internal diameter of 400 mm, 5000 kg of ethylene are hourly passed at a temperature of 40 ° C and a pressure of 240 at. The column is filled with generator slag with a grain size of from 10 to 30 mm. Ethylene is obtained from a high pressure polymerization cycle; it is contaminated with lubricants from compressors, liquid and gacheiodoby. Low molecular weight polymers of ethylene and other undesirable impurities. After 72 hours of work, the spent generator slag is regenerated, for which the process is switched to a parallel Included column filled with the same mass. The regeneration of the generating slag in the first column is carried out after the elimination of ethylene and the successive purging of the nitrogen and low-pressure steam for 3 hours. Then the mass is blown dry with nitrogen. Nitrogen is not heated, since the heat capacity of the column and generator generator is sufficient for the substance. After flushing the column with ethylene, it is ready to go.
During this period of operation in the circulating gas, no contamination could be detected. A test of generator slag, carried out before regeneration, showed a weight gain of 7.5%, caused by soils adsorbed from the circulating gas; By checking the weight of the generator slag after regeneration, it was determined that the contaminants were completely eliminated.
A total of 120 slag regenerations were carried out. At the same time, a decrease in the absorption capacity and a decrease in the mechanical strength of the generator scrap were not found.
1.Example 2. Through the adsorption column, designed in example 1, hourly pass 5000 kg of ethylene at a temperature of 45 ° C and a pressure of 250 at. The column is filled with semi-coke with a grain size of 5 to 20 mm. Ethylene contains the contaminants determined in Example 1. After 30 hours of operation, the coke is regenerated, for which the process is switched to a parallel-connected column filled with the same mass. Further work in example 1.
During this period of work, no contamination could be detected in the circulating gas. By checking the coke before regeneration. An increase in the weight of coke by 9% due to pollutants adsorbed from the circulating gas is shown, and by checking the weight of coke after regeneration it has been established that the contaminants from coke are intimidated.
A total of 90 coke regenerations were carried out. At the same time, a decrease in the lot-carrying oion property and a decrease in the mechanical strength of coke were not detected.
1.Example 3. Through the adsorption column described in Example 1, 4500 kg of ethylene are passed hourly at a temperature of 47 ° C and at a pressure of 250 at. The column is filled with pumice stone with a grain size of 60 to 80 mm. Ethylene contains the same impurities as in Example 1. After 35 hours of operation, the pumice stone is regenerated, for which the process is switched to a parallel-connected column filled with the same mass. Work oo oposo; bu specified in example 1.
During this period of work, no contamination could be established in the circulation ethylene. By checking pumice before regeneration - an increase in pumice weight by 8% due to gas adsorbed from circulating gas is shown, by checking the weight of pumice after regeneration, it has been established that contamination from pumice has been completely eliminated. A total of 135 regenerations were performed. At the same time, the decrease: plowed, ayush, her ability and the reduction of the mechanical strength of pumice were not found.
