FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: after manganese extraction by bacterial leaching and precipitation with alkaline the residual cultural fluid is acidified with sulfuric acid. Acidification is carried out up to pH 1-2 and used for manganese extraction from the manganese ore for 24 hr up to the content 14.85-9.01 g/l manganese. Method ensures to decrease consumption by 2-3 times and increase the rate of manganese extraction by 6-10 times. EFFECT: decreased consumptions, increased rate extraction. 2 tbl
