The invention relates to devices for protecting an objective lens from destruction and dusting by environmental microparticles.
Известна комбинированна бленда дл объектива, содержаща корпус и устройство дл защиты от микрочастиц, выполненное в виде размещенных в корпусе один над другим полукольцевых электродов, подключенных к клеммам различной пол рности источника питани .A known combined lens hood, comprising a housing and a device for protection against microparticles, made in the form of semi-ring electrodes placed one above the other and connected to terminals of different polarity of the power supply.
The disadvantage of this blend is the constant maintenance of voltage on the electrodes that hold the microparticles, even when optical systems are inoperative, which requires high energy costs.
Наиболее близкой по технической сущности к изобретению вл етс комбинированна бленда дл объектива, содержаща выполненный в виде трубки корпус, устройство дл защиты от микрочастиц, выполнен- ное в виде размещенных в корпусе полосовых элементов с диэлектрическим покрытием, подключенных попарно к клеммам различной пол рности источника питани .The closest to the technical essence of the invention is a combined lens hood containing a tube-shaped body, a device for protection against microparticles, made in the form of dielectric-coated strip elements placed in a body, connected in pairs to terminals of different polarity of the power supply. .
The disadvantage of this device is the accumulation of particles on the electrodes, which can lead to dropping them on the lens.
The purpose of the invention is to increase the effectiveness of the protection of the lens from microparticles.
This goal is achieved by the fact that the combined lens hood, comprising a tube-shaped housing containing a microparticle protection device made as a dielectric coated strip electrodes connected in pairs to terminals of different polarity of the power supply, is installed on one side housing by a purge system made in the form of a connected collector, a reducer and a gas cylinder, while on the other side of the case a device for protection against microparticles, electric the genera of which are made in the form of closed strips, placed perpendicular to the generator of the body, made of a dielectric material.
Figure 1 shows a combined lens hood; figure 2 - the purge system.
The body 1 of a dielectric material contains a device for protecting the lens from microparticles, made in the form of electrodes 2 placed on one side of the body 1 perpendicular to its generator. Electrodes 2 are
Междуclosed strips with dielectric coating 3 connected in pairs to terminals of different polarity of power supply 4. On the opposite side of the housing 1 is located the purge system, made in the form of a collector 5, a gearbox 6 and a cylinder 7 with gas. Structurally, the collector 5 is made in the form of two half-ring pipes (not shown) connected to the dispensing pipe 8, in the walls of which cylindrical holes are drilled. An electromagnetic pneumatic valve (not shown) is installed in the dispensing tube 8, which periodically opens. Between
Газ поступает в коллектор 5 и далееgearbox 6 and pneumatic valve mounted receiver 9. The collector 5 is mounted on the housing 1 of the hood near the objective lens. Lens hood works as follows. Before starting work, housing 1 is blown with compressed gas, which flows from cylinder 7 through reducer b to receiver 9, which provides a pulsed emission of gas. At the same time, the electromagnetic pneumatic valve is open. Gas enters manifold 5 and beyond
Во внутреннем объеме корпуса 1 (вthrough the housing 1 comes out, carrying dust particles. The electromagnetic pneumatic valve closes and the voltage is applied to the electrodes 2 from the power source 4. In the internal volume of housing 1 (in
2.one part of it) creates an inhomogeneous electrostatic field, which prevents particles from entering the inner region of housing 1. At the same time, ponderomotive forces will act on uncharged dust particles from the side of the electric field, directed towards increasing the intensity of the electric field, i.e. to the surface of the electrodes 2. Since the dielectric coating 3 is applied to the electrodes 2, the microparticles will settle on it opposite the electrodes 2 for a long time because their charge from the electrode 2 will not occur.
The charged microparticles will be affected by Coulomb forces, the direction of which depends on the sign of the charge of the particle and the vector of electric field intensity at a given point. In this case, the particle will tend to the oppositely charged electrode 2. When the electrode 2 is reached, the particle will be opposite the electrode 2 on the dielectric coating 3 all the time until
При этом перемещениеthe particle will recharge. When particles are recharged (acquiring a charge of the opposite sign), a repulsion from electrode 2 of one polarity will occur and the particles will be attracted by the electrode of another polarity. With this move
частиц будет осуществл тьс вдоль корпуса 1 не попада в поле действи объектива.particles will be carried out along the housing 1 not in the field of the lens.
As the body 1 of the hood is contaminated, dust accumulating on the electrodes 2 is periodically cleaned using a purge system.
