Description
The invention relates to powder metallurgy, in particular, to the preparation of composite layered products by spraying thin (up to 1.5 mm) coatings onto a substrate.
The purpose of the invention is to improve the quality of coatings.
The method is implemented as follows.
(570-700fC.Oxidized cast iron powder, such as sludge waste, is fed to a hydrogen-containing plasma jet. The powder particles are heated and dispersed in the plasma jet, and then deposited on the substrate. The temperature of the substrate during spraying support in the range (570-700fC.
Example. A coating of iron powder of the ZHHZO brand was obtained on a plasma spraying machine from Plasma-Technik. The composition of the plasma gas: argon 68%; hydrogen 32%. Spray patterns; arc current 450 A; voltage 55 V, gas consumption 4/2 m3 / h,
Steel cylindrical specimens with a diameter of 30 mm were used as the substrate.
Толщина полученного покрыти не превышала 1,5 мм.tThe temperature of the substrate during the deposition was maintained in the range (570-700) ° C. In this case, the temperature was controlled by varying the spraying distance in the range of 70-90 mm. The thickness of the coating obtained did not exceed 1.5 mm.
After spraying, the adhesive and cohesive strengths, as well as the porosity of the coating, were determined.
Comparative data for coatings obtained by the known and proposed methods are given in the table.
As the results show, the invention allows to obtain coatings with improved physicomechanical properties, as a result of which it can be recommended for strengthening and restoring the wear parts of machines.
