Abstract
(ЛThe invention relates to the treatment of wastewater, in particular to the neutralization of spent pickling solutions based on hydrofluoric acid and its salts with lime, and can be used in the disposal of spent pickling solutions after cleaning glass melting apparatus and products made of platinum alloys from alkali base glass in hydrofluoric acid, Purpose of the Invention - reduction of wastewater contamination with fluoride and reduction of the environmental hazard of precipitation in the dump due to the complete and fast conversion of fluoride into poorly soluble sludge The method involves mixing with slaked lime, settling and separation of the precipitate. In this case, the mixing is carried out by adding the spent solutions to the aqueous suspension of hydrated lime, which is a suspension containing 1.5-2.0-fold excess of hydrated lime relative to hydrofluoric acid in the initial pickling solution, in which calcium chloride is additionally introduced. and caustic soda, each in an amount of 2–5 wt.% with respect to the slaked lime, and bring the acidity of the mixture to the addition of slaked lime. 2 tab. Суспензию готов т из расчета 1,5-2,0- ратного избытка СаО по отношению к HF, одержащейс в исходном травильном расворе .The suspension is prepared at the rate of 1.5-2.0% of the excess of CaO with respect to the HF contained in the initial pickling solution.
The suspension is prepared in a vinipasta tank. Tap water of 200 l is poured, the calculated amounts of CaO, CaCIa, NaOH (see Table 1) are added to it, stirred for 5 minutes, the spent fluoride pickling solution is poured into the suspension, stirred for 5 minutes. The pH of the universal indicator paper was measured. If the pH of the mother liquor is less than 10 on indicator paper, dry CaO is added in portions of 15 g each, stirred for 2-3 minutes and the pH is again measured. This is done until the pH is 10. In this experiment, 30-45 g of CaO was added, except for examples 8.11, 12, 13, where CaO was not additionally introduced.
Прибавление раствора к суспензии, а не наоборот, необходимо дл уменьшени газовыделений (из-за высокой летучести HF) особенно в момент сливани , при этом также предь вл ютс менее жесткие требоёа- ни к материалу емкости, таким образом, достигаетс высока экологичность ведени процесса нейтрализации при больших поверхност х испарени ,Adding the solution to the suspension, and not vice versa, is necessary to reduce gas evolution (due to the high volatility of HF), especially at the time of draining, while also preserving less stringent requirements to the material of the container, thus achieving high environmental friendliness of the neutralization process. with large evaporation surfaces,
2).The pH of the solution is adjusted to a value of 10 or more with lime, not with NaOH or with a prepared suspension of lime with NaOH and CaC, since the environmental risk of precipitation in the heap is the smallest (see Table 2).
13,5.Example 2 was carried out at pH 10 (specifically pH 12), example 6 - at pH 13.5.
As a result of the neutralization of the spent fluorine-containing pickling solution, fluorides must quantitatively and quickly pass into the practically insoluble compound CaF2. The precipitate contains mainly CaF2 and Ca (OH) 2 and glass elements in the form of fluorides and hydroxides.
0B table. 2 shows the data on the solubility of the precipitates formed in the examples,

Как видно из представленных данных, осадок фторидов, полученный при нейтрализации (примеры 1-3, 6, 7) практически не-,л растворим в воде (растворимость 5 As can be seen from the data presented, the fluoride precipitate obtained by neutralization (examples 1-3, 6, 7) is practically not, l soluble in water (solubility 5

The absence of excess lime (examples 13 and 14) also leads to incomplete decomposition of fluorosilicates (examples 13 and 14).
Отсутствие в растворе CaCl2 (пример 10)The absence in the solution of CaCl2 (example 10)

The 0 ratio makes it possible to more fully and quickly transfer fluorides to the sediment, which is practically insoluble in water, and thus prevent the environment from being contaminated with fluoride from the outside.
