Description
The invention relates to devices for arc treatment and can be used for plasma treatment in air and under water.
A plasma torch is known, in which water flow and plasma-forming gas are independently fed into the nozzle. The plasma torch contains an external nozzle and an internal nozzle with a plasma-forming channel, which are mounted concentrically to each other and fixed in the plasma torch body so that they form two annular channels. The first channel between the surface of the cathode and the inner surface of the inner nozzle is designed to supply a pulping gas. It houses the internal feeder, the second channel is formed between the outer surface of the inner nozzle and the inner surface of the outer nozzle. Moreover, the external nozzle is intended to supply water flow (copyright certificate NRB No. 29754, cl. 23 K 9/16, 1982}.) The second annular channel through the swirler is connected to the annular groove connected to the channels for supplying the working agent made in the plasma torch body.
The lack of a plasma torch lies in the fact that it is impossible to simultaneously and independently feed inert and oxygen-containing lasm-forming gas directly into the plasma-forming channel. Another disadvantage is that with an increase in the thickness of the material being cut or the immersion depth, together with an increase in the power of the plasma torch, the consumption of inert gases — argon, hydrogen, nitrogen, gels, and their mixtures — significantly increases. As a result, plasma cutting of ordinary steels above a certain thickness becomes more expensive per linear meter than gas-oxygen cutting.
The object of the invention is to create a plasma torch in which a simultaneous and independent supply of inert and oxygen-containing plasma-forming gas directly to the plasma-forming channel would be ensured, resulting in a reduced consumption of inert plasma-forming gas.
The problem was solved with the help of an additional intermediate nozzle, concentrically mounted between the inner and outer nozzles with the formation of a joint plasma-forming channel with the plasma-forming inner nozzle channel.

The tangential channels of the swirler are connected to an annular groove made in the intermediate nozzle. In turn, the channels symmetrically located in the body of the intermediate nozzle around its circumference are connected to this annular groove. These channels are also connected to the annular channel, which is formed between the outer surface of the intermediate nozzle and the inner surface of the outer nozzle. The annular channel formed between the outer surface of the inner nozzle and the inner surface of the intermediate nozzle, and the annular channel formed by the outer surface of the intermediate nozzle and the inner surface of the outer nozzle are connected by channels that are made in the body of the intermediate nozzle and evenly spaced around its circumference.
Преимущества предложенного плазмотрона: обеспечена одновременна и независима подачи инертного кислородсодержащего плазмообразующего газа и потока воды, чем уменьшаетс расход инертного газа; конструкци дает возможность осуществл ть резку деталей большой толщины на воздухе и под водой со значительной глубиной погружени .The advantages of the proposed plasma torch: the simultaneous and independent supply of inert oxygen-containing plasma-forming gas and water flow is ensured, which reduces the consumption of inert gas; The design makes it possible to cut parts of large thickness in air and under water with a considerable depth of immersion.

They are fixed in the housing 4 of the plasma torch in such a way that they form three channels. The first channel 5 is formed between the cathode 6 of the plasma torch and the internal nozzle 1, the second channel 7 - between the intermediate 2 and external 3 nozzles, the third channel 8 - between the internal 1 and intermediate 2 nozzles. In the first channel 5 installed turbulator 9, and in the second channel 7 - turbulator 10.
13. In turn, the internal annular channel 16 is connected through holes 17 to an external annular channel 18 connected to fitting 19. The outer channel 18 can also be made in the intermediate 2, and in the internal 3 socket. Channel 7 is connected to channels 20, made in the housing 4 of the plasma torch using channels 21 and channel 8.
The plasma torch works as follows.
With a certain flow, inert gas is tangentially supplied to channel 5 at an increasing rate, and then to the plasma-forming channel 13. The cooling water flow through channels 20 enters channel 8, and then into channels 21 and cools nozzles 1 and 2. Water from channels 21 enters channel 7, from which it flows, forming a protective conical water shield. Between the cathode and the material being processed, an arc is ignited and, simultaneously, from the choke 19, an oxygen-containing gas stream is supplied to the annular channel 18 with a flow rate exceeding that of inert gas.
The oxygen-containing gas passes through the holes 17 into the annular channel 16, from which, via tangential channels 15, enters the plasma-forming channel 13, changing the gas-dynamic, energy and thermal parameters of the plasma arc.
