The aim of the invention is to extend the field of application of the method to conductive volumes that are not available for measuring potential distribution. As a result of connecting to the investigated volume of an auxiliary homogeneous conductive volume, in which the potential distribution U (x, y, z) is measured by solving the Punch equation, the distribution of the volume charge is determined in the conductive volume under study that is not available for measurement of the potentials. 2 Il.

Изобретение относитс к электроизмё- рени м и может быть использовано при определении распределени объемного зар да, индуцированного в провод щем объеме, например в биологических объектах , при излучении задач магнитной гидродинамики .The invention relates to electrical measurements and can be used in determining the distribution of a volume charge induced in a conducting volume, for example, in biological objects, when emitting problems of magnetic hydrodynamics.
The aim of the invention is to extend the field of application of the method to conductive objects that are inaccessible for measuring the distribution of the potential.
FIG. 1 and 2 shows an example of the implementation of the method
The method is as follows.
If in a certain volume under study there is an electric charge generation process, then when a certain auxiliary conducting volume is connected to this volume, electric currents flow in the latter, as a result, there is a well-defined distribution of electric potential in the auxiliary volume, due to the distribution of charge density volume and determined by the Poisson equation
AU(x,у, z)/9(x,у, т),AU (x, y, z) / 9 (x, y, t),
где A(x,y,z)- распределение потенциала во вспомогательном объеме;where A (x, y, z) is the potential distribution in the auxiliary volume;
/9(x,y,z) - распределение плотности зар да в исследуемом объеме./ 9 (x, y, z) is the distribution of the charge density in the volume under study.
Solving the Poisson equation can be obtained using the influence function (Green function) by solving the Fredholm integral equation of the 1st kind

где х ,у , г - координаты исследуемого объема;where x, y, g - coordinates of the investigated volume;
G (x.y.z, x ,y ,z) - функци вли ни уравнени Пуассона в области V, образованной исследуемым и вспомогательным объемами .G (x.y.z, x, y, z) is a function of the influence of the Poisson equation in the domain V formed by the studied and auxiliary volumes.
In order to simplify the finding of the Green function, it is advisable to choose the region V of the simplest geometric shape, for which the Green function is already known (rectangular, cylindrical, spherical), and the conductivity of the material of the auxiliary volume of equal conductivity at the interface of the investigated volume with the auxiliary one.
To simplify the measurement of the distribution of U (x, y, z) with the known geometry of the auxiliary volume and its conductivity, it is possible to limit the measurement of the potential distribution on its surface.
As an example of the implementation of the method, we consider the problem of restoring the charge sharing induced in a dense, well-conducting plasma moving in a magnetic field (see drawing). Since the electric field is related to the jet velocity by Ohm’s law
( -Н), где v - скорость струи вдоль оси х;(-H), where v is the jet velocity along the x axis;
Н - однородное поле, направленное глоль оси у;H is a homogeneous field directed by the yol axis;
j7- проводимость струи;j7 is the jet conductivity;
Эта величина, как известно, определ ет величину трепил в струе и часто вл етс предметом исследований.then, up to the contribution of the ohmic resistance j / r, the distribution of the induced charge characterizes the distribution of the derivative of the velocity over the coordinate z. This value, as is well known, determines the magnitude of the whipping in the jet and is often the subject of research.
Thus, if H and the jet velocity do not change along the channel, then

соответствующее ему распределение потенциала в дополнительном объеме характеризуетс распределением в плоскости (УД).the corresponding potential distribution in the additional volume is characterized by the distribution in the plane (DD).
As an example, we will consider the rectangular geometry of both the investigated 1 and the additional 2 volumes with the same linear dimensions in cross section.
7.The additional volume is limited by a case made of insulator 3, filled with conductor 4 (graphite) into which electrodes 5 are mounted, measuring the potential distribution. Contact with conductive plasma is made on the surface 6. free of insulator. Signature sensors (electrodes) are placed in the (y, z) plane, with 9 electrodes along each of the coordinates. To simplify the calculations, periodic condition curves are used that are implemented with shunt copper wires 7.
To interrogate the sensors and numerically process the obtained results, systems used to automate the physical experiment, in particular the CAMAC crate, coupled with the control computer of a personal computer class can be used.
By attaching an auxiliary homogeneous conductive volume to the test volume and measuring the potential distribution in it, it is possible to determine the distribution of the electric charge density in a given volume without penetrating this volume, which in some cases is very important, for example, when measuring the distribution of the electrical charge density generated in a hot plasma jet or human brain.
