ЁA device for examining the respiratory system makes it possible to increase the accuracy of measuring the characteristics of the respiratory system, using the forced oscillation method — oscillation resistance, stretchability, inertia, etc. The human respiratory system is connected with pneumatic section 3 (PT) through the mouthpiece 20 which, through a breathing bag 13, PT 19, and an electromagnetic valve (EMC) 18, is connected to the atmosphere. Using an oscillator 1, generating a noise signal in the frequency range 4-50 Hz, and an electromechanical transducer 2 in a PT 3, pressure pulsations are created, and the source 4 of the air flow allows you to create some constant overpressure that can be regulated by opening and closing EMC 18. Sensor (D) 5 converts the air flow rate in PT 3 into an electrical signal, which is amplified by amplifier 7 and separated by a bandpass filter (CF) 8 with a passband of 4-50 Hz and a bottom filter 17 from (LPF) with a cut-off frequency of 1.5-2.5 Hz into two signals, the first of which carries information about the pulsations of the speed of the air flow, and the second about its average value, D 6 and 14 of the pressure give information about the pulsating pressure and average pressure in the system. 2 Il. Цель изобретени - повышение точности измерени параметров дыхательной системы при различных значени х объема и давлени воздуха в легких путем создани ступенчато-возрастающего дозированного давлени в тракте измерени .The purpose of the invention is to improve the accuracy of measurement of the parameters of the respiratory system at different values of the volume and pressure of air in the lungs by creating a stepwise increasing metered pressure in the measuring path.
FIG. 1 shows a block diagram of the proposed device; in fig. 2 is a graph of static pressure versus time.
20.The device contains an electric vibration generator 1, an electromechanical converter 2, a first pneumatic actuator 3, an air flow source 4, an air flow rate sensor 5, pressure sensors 6 and 14, amplifiers 7, 9 and 15, band-pass filters 8 and 10, analog a digital converter 11 with a switch, a control and data processing unit 12, a breathing bag 13, 16 and 17 low-pass filters, an electromagnetic valve 18, a second pneumatic section 19 and a mouthpiece 20.
The device works as follows.
When determining the characteristics of breathing mechanics using a generator 1 and an electromechanical transducer 2, a pulsating air flow is created, which is mixed with human natural breathing, and the complex parameters of the pulsating flow velocity and pulsating pressure, which are established in the pneumatic tract – lungs, are recorded. A person’s breathing passes through the pneumatic actuator 3 into the respiratory bag 13. The pulsating flow contains frequencies in the range of approximately 4-50 Hz, and the volumes of the pulsating flow equal to 1-5 ml. Measurement of complex flow rate and pressure parameters at various frequencies is obtained, for example, using the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) algorithm implemented in control and data processing unit 12. To the pulsating flow and breathing of a person in the pneumatic section 3, a constant flow of displacement is added at a rate of 0.4-0.8 l / s, produced by the source 4 of the air flow.
20.The oscillation generator 1 generates a pseudo-random signal with a spectral width of 4 to 50 Hz. which is converted by an electromechanical transducer 2 into oscillations of air in the pneumatic actuator 3. As an electromagnetic transducer, for example, an electrodynamic loudspeaker can be used. The breath of a person enters the pneumatic section 3 through the mouthpiece 20.
Pneumatic section 3 receives pulsating oscillations of the air flow, which enter the human lungs and mix with the respiratory flow. The volumetric flow rate of air in the pneumatic section 3 and the pulsating pressure in it are converted into electrical signals by the air flow rate sensor 5 and the pressure sensor 6. These signals are amplified by amplifiers 7 and 9, respectively, and fed to bandpass filters 8 and 10, having a passband of 4-50 Hz, which results in suppressing natural respiration rates and frequencies above the upper bound frequency of the pulsations. In addition, the pneumatic signal from amplifier 7 is fed to a low-pass filter 17 with a cut-off frequency of 1.5-2 Hz to extract a signal corresponding to the patient's inspiratory-expiratory flow rate.
18.Pneumatic section 3 is connected with a breathing bag 13 (the volume of the breathing bag is 50-60 liters), the output of which is connected via pneumatic section 19 to the output of pressure sensor 6, the pressure sensor input 14, the output of which is connected to the atmosphere, and the solenoid valve 18, opening of which (when the control signal is supplied from block 12), the pneumatic actuator 19 is connected to the atmosphere. Since the pressure in the pneumatic section 3 is averaged (integrated) in the breathing bag 13, the pressure in the pneumatic section 19 corresponds to the average pressure value in the pneumatic section 3, which is associated with the lungs of the subject. Therefore, the output signal of pressure sensor 14 is proportional to the average pressure value in pneumatic section 3, and the output signal from pressure sensor 6 is proportional to the pulsating pressure in pneumatic section 3 relative average value. The magnitude of the average pressure in the pneumatic section 3 at a constant air flow from the air flow source 4 can be adjusted by means of an electromagnetic valve 18.
The output of pressure sensor 14 is amplified by amplifier 15 and averaged by low pass filter 16. The output signals of the band-pass filters 8 and 10 and of the filters 16 and 17 of the lower frequencies are fed to the inputs of the analog-to-digital converter (ADC) 11, which includes a switch controlled by signals from the control and processing unit 12.
The device operates in several phases. In the first phase, after the subject is connected to the pneumatic section 3 through the mouthpiece 20 in the pneumatic section 3, the lungs begin to increase static pressure (phase I, in Fig. 2), which is measured by block 12 via pressure sensor 14, amplifier 15, a low-pass filter 16 and an A / D converter 11, the input of which in this case, on command from block 12, is connected to the output of the low-pass filter 16. When the specified static pressure level Pst1 is reached, the stabilization mode is activated, as a result of which, due to the periodic opening and closing of the electromagnetic valve 18, the static pressure in the system is maintained within PCt1 to Pst1 (phase H in Fig. 2). Upon reaching the target pressure level, a command from the control and data processing unit 12 sequentially polls the inputs of the ADC 11, as a result of which information is received in block 12, which allows to calculate inspiratory-expiratory volumes, oscillatory resistance, stretchability, inertia of the lungs and other required parameters.
2).After completing the calculations, the kgapan 18 closes and the static pressure in the system begins to increase to a new predetermined level Pst2 (phase II in FIG.), When reached, the pressure stabilization mode is switched on again and the respiration parameters start to be calculated (phase IV in Fig. 2).
The last phase of the measurements is carried out at the level of EOF, not exceeding 20 cm of water column, in order not to damage the lungs,
После измерени характеристик механики дыхани на всех уровн х статического давлени клапан 18 открываетс и давление в пневмотракте 3 возвращаетс к атмосферному .After measuring the characteristics of the breathing mechanics at all levels of static pressure, the valve 18 opens and the pressure in the pneumatic section 3 returns to atmospheric.
