The invention relates to chemical and heat treatment in gaseous media and can be used in mechanical engineering to increase the durability of machine parts operating in corrosive environments.
The aim of the invention is to increase the corrosion resistance in sodium chloride solution.
In the method of chemical heat treatment, including diffusion saturation with nitrogen at 500-800 C for 2-4 hours and subsequent oxidation for 2-30 minutes, diffusion saturation is carried out in ammonia, and oxidation at 620-625 C in vapors of water and ethyl alcohol at a mixing ratio of 1: 1 (by volume).
The method is carried out in the following way.
Parts are placed in a working container, the container is sealed, produ-. ammonia and placed in a furnace heated to 550-800 ° C. Upon reaching the working temperature in the container, ammonia is supplied and the parts are kept for 2-4 hours. Then the temperature is adjusted to 620-62f5 C, ammonia is turned off and a mixture of vapors and ethyl alcohol is supplied when the ratio of the components of the mixture (by volume) 1: 1 for 2-30 minutes Remove the container from the oven, turn off the vapor mixture and cool it in air.
1After soaking at the Perza stage, a diffusion layer consisting of a surface of OO is formed on the surface of the part.

Features of the nitride zone: columnar structure, pores, microcracks.
After holding the second stage, the amount of nitride phases is reduced and in the surface zone after 30 minutes of oxidation, o (, j,, e, goz is obtained. As a result, a layer with a higher corrosion resistance is formed on the surface of the part.
Example. The products are treated in an atmosphere of ammonia at 580 G for 2 hours and then in a mixture of ethanol and water vapor for 0.5 hours.
