Abstract
This invention relates to a process for the production of finely dispersed mica filler in a dry, non-caking form. For this, the method of obtaining this filler includes the following operations: crushing and grinding of mica, hydroclassification of pulp of crushed mica, thickening the hydrocyclone discharge in a precipitation centrifuge, clarifying the resulting drain, followed by condensing the second precipitation centrifuge to obtain an aqueous dispersion containing 18-35 wt.% Mica , the particle size of 0.01-5 microns, the replacement of water in the dispersion by treating the aqueous dispersion of mica with an organic solvent that is not miscible with water containing a surfactant in from the higher unsaturated acids in the amount of 3-5 wt.% on the dry residue when the ratio of the mass of dispersion on the dry residue and aging at 50-60 ° C, draining the separated aqueous phase and evaporation of the thickened residue to a moisture content of 15-20% and drying it under vacuum at 100-150 ° C. The invention thus provides a highly dispersed, non-adherent mica powder with a particle size of less than 5 microns.

Полученной смесью обрабатывают дисперсию при перемешивании на тихоходной мешалке в течение 5 мин, после чего вьщерживают при 55°С .на вод ной бане в течение . Q 2ч. При этом частицы слюды, покрытые пленкой ПАВ, всплывают, что позвол ет отделить от них жидкую фазу. На той же вод ной бане сгущенный остаток упаривают еще 30 мин до влажностидEXAMPLE, measure 1. 5 kg of mica is directed to crushing on a hammer mill with a 10 µm deck. The crushed product enters the wet grinding of J5 in the vibro-beaver SVN-40 at T: F 1: 1 to a particle size of 95% of a class less than 40 microns. Then the ground product is hydroclassified. In T: W 1:10 on a hydrocyclone with a diameter of 50 mm. The continuous dispersion contains 25% of the solid phase, mica particles less than 5 microns in size. This dispersion is a colloid that is contiguous and homogeneous throughout the volume. The dispersion weights are 500 grams in JQ conversion. dry product. Next, take 15 g of oleic acid (3% of the dry product), mix in a container with dodecane, with the ratio of the mass of dispersion of the dry residue to the solvent mixture - surfactant 1:10. The resulting mixture was treated with the dispersion with stirring on a low-speed mixer for 5 minutes, then held at 55 ° C in a water bath for. Пример 3. Слки ную дисперсию, олученную по примеру 1, обрабатывают месью из 25 г линоленовой кислоты и рганического растворител декана при тношении слвды и смеси 1:3. Далее по римеру 1, но упаривание сгущенного осле отделени воды остатка ведут о влажности 15% , а сушку - в вакуумном шкафу при 1 00 С.Example 3. A slurry dispersion prepared according to Example 1 is treated with a mixture of 25 g of linolenic acid and a solvent of decane in a mixture of sugar and a mixture of 1: 3. Then, according to Example 1, but evaporation of the condensed condensate after separation of the water leads to a moisture content of 15%, and drying in a vacuum cabinet at 1 00 C.
Проведение процесса при указанных в формуле соотношени х реагентах определ етс тем, что при концентрации ПА.В менее 3% не происходит полное отделени слвды от воды, так как на поверхности не образуетс моносло ПАВ, а при концентрации свыше 5% наблюдаетс слипаемость готового продукта.Carrying out the process at the ratios indicated in the formula is determined by the fact that, at a PAA concentration of less than 3%, complete separation of water from the water does not occur, since no surfactant monolayer forms on the surface, and at a concentration of more than 5%, the finished product adheres.
Применение смеси растворитель - ПАВ в количестве меньшем тройнЪго ко- . личества сухого остатка дисперсии недостаточно дл смачивани слюд ных частиц, так как велика их удельна . поверхность, отношение больше 10 приводит к излишнему содержанию жидкости , затрудн ет сушку, неоправдано увеличивает энергоемкость процесса.The use of a mixture of solvent - surfactant in an amount of less than three co-co. The amount of dry residue of the dispersion is not enough to wet the mica particles, since they are large in size. surface ratio of more than 10 leads to excessive liquid content, complicates drying, unnecessarily increases the energy intensity of the process.
Выдержка слкд ной дисперсии после обработки ниже 50°С существенно замедл ет отделение органического сло от вод ного, при температуре вьш1е происходит разложение органического сло , что приводит к спеканию слюд ной дисперсии.Exposure of the slurry dispersion after treatment to below 50 ° C significantly slows down the separation of the organic layer from the aqueous layer, at the temperature above the decomposition of the organic layer occurs, which leads to sintering of the mica dispersion.
Таким образом, предлагаемый способ позвол ет йолучить высокодисперсньш неслипающийс слкд ной порошок размером частиц менее 5 мкм.Thus, the inventive method makes it possible to obtain a highly dispersed, non-adherent slidd powder with a particle size of less than 5 microns.
