N 1177352.The invention relates to ferrous metallurgy, more specifically to the method of operation of the melting furnace regenerators, and is an improvement of the method according to the authors. St. N 1177352.
The aim of the invention is to reduce fuel consumption, oxygen and increase the resistance of the masonry.
The proposed method of operation is intended for regenerators having two chambers: free from nozzle and with nozzle. The chamber without a nozzle is located first along the smoke and has a separate flue with a gate installed on it connecting it to the common flue furnace.
The regenerator works as follows.
During the period when the bath is purged with oxygen, when the flue gases leaving
В период работы печи, когда в дымовых газах пониженное содержание пыли, основной объем дымовых газов (70%) проходит через камеру с насадкой, а 30% - через камеру, свободную от насадки.from the working space of the melting furnace, have a high dust content, the main volume (70%) is passed through the chamber free from the nozzle, and a smaller part of their volume (30%) is passed through the chamber with the nozzle in order to heat it. During the period of operation of the furnace, when there is a reduced dust content in the flue gases, the main volume of flue gases (70%) passes through the chamber with the nozzle, and 30% through the chamber free of nozzles.
Если расход воздуха через насадки составл ет меел jAt the same time, during the period of bath purging, when only 30-40% of the flue gases pass through the chamber with the nozzle, only 30-40% of its total amount passes through it during the air heating cycle, and the rest 60-70% passes through the chamber without the nozzle. В результате потребуетс расходовать дополнительное топливо дл поддержани необходимой температуры факела в рабочем пространстве и предотвращени остывани кладки.it is 30%, the air is heated to a temperature in excess of 600 ° C, which adversely affects the durability of the masonry of the working space. With an increase in air flow above 40%, its temperature will drop below 500 ° C. As a result, it will be necessary to expend additional fuel to maintain the required temperature of the flame in the working space and prevent the masonry from cooling down.
Such a change in the flow rate of the incoming air to heating is carried out automatically by means of control valves installed on the ducts in each of the chambers of the regenerator, depending on the change in the amount of smoke passing through the nozzle.
During the purge period, when a large amount of hot carbon monoxide is released from the bath, to maintain the temperature in the working space at the required level (calorimetric combustion temperature is 2600 ° C), it is necessary to heat the air to 500-600 ° C. At higher air temperatures, the durability of the refractory masonry of the working space decreases, and at lower temperatures, there is a shortage of heat in the working space of the furnace.
Example. The process is carried out on a 600 ton open-hearth furnace. During the period of oxygen purging of the bath (5000), the main volume of flue gases (70%) is passed through the chamber free of nozzles, and a smaller part of their volume (305) passes through
At the same time, the air is distributed in the same way: 70% of its total amount passes through the chamber of the second regenerator free from the nozzle, and 30% passes through the chamber with the nozzle. The average temperature of air heating during this period will be approximately 500 ° C, which is sufficient to maintain the optimum temperature of the torch and contributes to an increase in the resistance of the masonry. The temperature of the top of the nozzle does not fall below the permissible value, i.e. below 1000 ° C. The pressure under the vault is on average 3.5-4, Ohm water. The change in air flow is made synchronously with the change in smoke flow and is carried out automatically by smoke gates.
The results are shown in the table.
The proposed method allows reducing fuel consumption by 5-6 kg / t, oxygen consumption by 5-7 m3 / t, and refractory consumption by 0.3-0.5 kg / t.
