Description
The invention relates to powder metallurgy, in particular, to methods for hot pressing machine parts and tools from iron-based metal powders.
The aim of the invention is to improve the physicomechanical properties.
Made a product of powder material SPH5 ring for the drill chuck. The billet was pressed, heated by high-frequency currents up to 1200 ° C, and hot dynamic pressing was carried out by punching. After hot stamping, the product was subjected to a thermal homogenizing treatment by heating to 1050 ° C in an atmosphere of dissociated ammonia, holding at this temperature for 120 minutes, poduzhu-f
Example 2. A ring for a drill chuck was made of iron powder grade ZH2 ZM2 doped with chromium with carbon, by cold pressing, heating, hot pressing, heat treatment, carburizing, quenching and tempering. As a result, a product was obtained from material SP 40X, according to the chemical composition of anabolic steel 40X.
After hot stamping, the product was subjected to thermal homogenization according to the following mode: heating in the atmosphere of atomic carbon to 1150 ° C, holding for 10 minutes, then cooling to 920–930 ° C, carbonitriding and hardening.
The mechanical properties of powder parts from PZhZM2 powder obtained by the proposed method are presented in the table. For comparison, the table shows the physicomechanical properties of identical parts obtained by a known method, as well as the properties of parts made of rolled steel OX, the chemical composition of which corresponds to the SG # OX material.
Как показывают данные таблицы, механические свойства кольца, полученного по предлагаемому способу,значительно выше свойств аналогичных деталей , полученных по известному способу , и имеют существенно меньший разброс .As these tables show, the mechanical properties of the ring obtained by the proposed method are much higher than the properties of similar parts obtained by a known method, and have a significantly smaller scatter.
Conducting high-temperature heat treatment after hot stamping allows complete sintering of metal particles and uniform density.
At a temperature of 1050–1150 ° C, diffusion and grain growth processes are intensively leveled in powder steel, which allow to obtain an even phase and chemical composition and complete dissolution of carbides. Nonmetallic impurities are transported to the grain boundaries. A carbonized or other protective atmosphere eliminates the oxidation and the appearance of a carbon-free layer. Нагрев до температуры ниже не дает развити перечисленных процессов .Heating to a temperature below does not give rise to the listed processes.
An increase in temperature to 1200 ° C and higher causes the appearance of a liquid phase and harmful segregation effects.
A shutter speed of less than 10 minutes does not allow the required homogenization processes to develop to a large extent.
Aging time of more than 120 minutes results in the coagulation of carbon and non-metallic inclusions, resulting in increased material friability.
The increase in mechanical properties of products, due to the high rate of thermal (1050-1150 ° C) heat treatment after hot stamping, is associated with an increase in density, alignment of the phase and chemical composition, approaching the structure of the sintered billet to the steel structure.
The proposed method makes it possible to obtain uniform mechanical properties of the parts (for example, the variation in hardness decreases by a factor of 2.5) and to increase the strength by. The plastic properties and impact viscosity increase significantly. Performance is improved, allowing for a wider range of parts made from metal powders.
