Abstract
This invention relates to non-ferrous metallurgy, in particular to the refinement of rough lead. The purpose of the invention is to increase the degree of extraction of lead. This goal is achieved due to the fact that the flux additionally contains calcium hydroxide in the following ratio of components, wt%: sodium hydroxide 45 - 67, calcium hydroxide 8 - 30, calcium nitrate 5 - 25, sodium nitrate 10 - 25, 1 tab.
Description
This invention relates to non-ferrous metallurgy, in particular to the refinement of rough lead.
The purpose of the invention is to increase the degree of extraction of lead.
Example. The properties of the prepared fluxes were investigated in experiments on the refinement of rough lead by the following method. On the surface of the melt of rough lead composition, masD: Pb 96.2; As Oh, L; Sn 0.68; Sb 0.79 and weighing 150 kg at 400 ° C, lead to melting of the prepared fluxes. By melting the flux to better contact and increase the surface of the lead melt and flux interaction, the melt is bubbled through the immersed form with water vapor that is selected for use due to the extremely low content of gases in them and their inertness to the elements of draft lead. After purging for 2 h, the experiment is stopped and
Lead and melt samples are taken for chemical analysis.
The results of the experiments are given in the table,
From the data in the table, it follows that the flux of the proposed composition for alkaline refining of lead makes it possible to achieve a higher degree of extraction of lead with a higher degree of purification. Losses from lead impurities with a melt compared to the known one are less by 4.9-9.5 times.
The use of the present invention allows to reduce the loss of lead from refining products.
