Description
The invention relates to measuring equipment and can be used in the refining, medical, food, meat and dairy industries. The aim of the invention is to increase the information content, accuracy and reliability of the dispersion analysis of microparticles. The goal is achieved by alternately passing each particle separately through an alternating electric field and determining the sign and absolute magnitude of the phase shift, the appearance of which is the result of a change in the parameters of the electric field when a particle arrives at this primary (unperturbed) electric field. To isolate pulses from particles with the same electrophysical properties, the pulses are selected by the sign of the phase shift, and the particle size of a dispersed system component determined by electrophysical properties is determined by the absolute value of the phase shift of the corresponding sign, which is directly proportional to the particle size.

As a model dispersed system with known electrophysical properties of the dispersion medium and the dispersed phase using the dispersion medium is 0.5 n. NaC1 solution and dispersed phase - electrically conductive (steel) and dielectric (glass) balls with pre-measured diameters. With the help of the feeder, the model dispersed system is filled with the measuring zone of the primary converter and alternately passing through this zone each spherical particle separately with a fixed value of its diameter.
A sinusoidal voltage, taken from the output of the primary converter, as well as, from the output of the second, identical to the first, primary converter, filled with one dispersion medium (0.5N. MaCl solution), is fed to the phase measuring device OPV — 3. According to the indications of the phase measuring device, the presence and parameters of the phase shift between the signal voltage from the first (informational) and second (reference) primary transducer are determined.
The results of measurements of the parameters of phase shifts from particles are presented in the table.
