Abstract
4 з. (С (Л 4 СП The invention relates to the field of instrumentation technology, in particular to optical devices for the analysis of dissimilar particles, and can be used to study such properties of microparticles formed during the technological processing of surfaces by grinding, such as dimensions, shape, speed, material. The purpose of the invention is to improve the accuracy of the analysis and increase its informativeness by further determining the velocity and material of the particles. The stream of particles, forming 1xs when the surface to be machined and the grinding wheel contact, is probed with a laser light beam. The interference diffraction image of the particles is recorded by a photopicker, which makes it possible to subsequently determine the size and shape of the registered particle. At the same time, the particle velocity is recorded using Doppler anemometry. The flow of particles under study on the way to the analyzed volume is subjected to separation by applying an electric and magnetic field to separate the trajectories of charged particles (droplets, coolant) and uncharged particles (from metal or abrasive). A counter flow or an inert gas flow allows for a noticeable difference in the velocities of particles of different density (metal or abrasive) when these particles enter the analyzed volume. By this velocity difference, the particle material is identified. 4 з.п, ф-л, 1 Il. (C (L 4 SP

The light scattered by the moving particle is collected by the second lens 11 and directed to the photocathode of the photodetector 13, the particle scatters the candles of both beams. But since the node between the vector of its velocity and the wave vector of each beam is different, the light scattered by the particle from both beams - l KOV. Will differ in length,
23,As a result of wave interference, the signal at the photodetector output experiences a beating at a frequency equal to the frequency difference of both waves. After amplification by an I-Band amplifier 14, a spectrum analyzer 15 is used to measure the difference frequency recorded by memory 16, Found) 1a the magnitude of the difference frequency makes it possible to determine the velocity of the particle. In the path of flow of the studied particles between the area to the ontact of the grinding wheel 23 with the surface to be treated and the area of the analyzed volume, a separator 17 of charged particles is placed to separate the trajectories of uncharged particles, particles of the material of the surface being treated and abrasive from the trajectories of charged particles. which are microdroplets of coolant (coolant), coolant particles acquire an electric charge when the contact of liquid and solid materials on the surface of the grinding wheel 23 is broken,
Separation of charged and uncharged particles in the vertical direction is achieved by applying an electric field (using metal plates 18 connected to the poles of a source of pulsed voltage) or a magnetic field created by permanent magnets or electromagnets. Placing the analyzed volume in a region that is shifted vertically to the zone of predominance of the trajectories of uncharged particles makes it possible to eliminate the influence of coolant and thereby increase the measurement accuracy.
Particles of metal and abrasive, having a different density, reach the analyzed volume with a difference in speeds caused by the difference in their inhibition in the gaseous medium. This measured velocity difference allows the particle material to be determined.
The additional parallel or antiparallel gas flow created by the sources 19 or 20 of the gas flow makes it possible to increase this difference in velocities and thereby ensure reliable selection of particles according to their material. At the same time, dp of particles of relatively large size, a counter flow is advisable, while for small particles a flow is necessary, since otherwise they do not reach the analyzed volume.
Необходимые величины и направление скорости потока газа могут быть получены из следующего соотношени :The required values and the direction of the gas flow rate can be obtained from the following relationship:
V 15, 3,5(lgD)V 15, 3.5 (lgD)
где Vwhere v
- скорость потока газа, измеренна в м/с; Vo - начальна скорость частиц,- gas flow rate, measured in m / s; Vo is the initial velocity of the particles,
измеренна в м/с; D - диаметр исследуемых-частиц,measured in m / s; D is the diameter of the investigated particles
22.measured in microns. Obtaining a clear and unambiguous image - the diffraction pattern of a particle is achieved by reducing the analyzed volume, excluding more than one particle from entering the analyzed volume. This is achieved by selecting the appropriate slit width of the slit screen 21 and introducing the first lens 10 and the diaphragm 22.
To eliminate the deformation of metallic particles due to their oxidation in air. Inert gas is used.
