Abstract
с в (ЛThe invention relates to technical physics and can be used to control the permeability of porous materials. The goal is to increase measurement. The method involves dividing the measuring cell into two chambers with the test sample, supplying the gas to one of the chambers and registering state changes. Fluid above the upper edge of the sample is poured into both chambers, gas is cyclically fed under constant overpressure into the free volume above the fluid alternately into both chambers, gas is alternately displaced from the chamber alternately from the chamber into the chamber a constant calibrated fluid volume, automatically fix the number and time each cycle by which permeability is calculated. In addition, the permeability of the system without the sample is preliminarily determined, then with the sample, and the permeability of the latter is calculated by comparing the measurement results. 1 il. with in (L

п.The invention relates to technical physics and can be used to determine the permeability of porous powder materials, ceramic, mesh and cellular materials in powder metallurgy, construction, mechanical engineering, and the like.
The aim of the invention is to improve the accuracy of determination.
The drawing shows a scheme for implementing the method.
The method for determining the permeability of porous materials consists in dividing the measuring cell into two chambers by the test sample, creating a differential pressure of the liquid on the sample, measuring the flow rate of the liquid in the measuring cell with and without an established sample, and calculating the alternating sample cyclically in both directions (from chamber to chamber) a constant calibrated volume of liquid is filtered, and the number and time of cycles are fixed.
Example. A sample of the porous material 1 divides the measuring cell 2 into two chambers 3 and 4 of equal volume so that the latter communicate with each other only through the sample. Then, the test liquid 5 (for example, water, oil, fuel, electrolyte, etc.) is poured into chambers 3. and 4 above the upper edge of sample 1 by an amount ensuring complete immersion of the sample in the liquid during level fluctuations in the chambers. Having opened valve 6, gas — for example, air — with an excess pressure P — is introduced into the first chamber. Under the action of this excess pressure, liquid from the first 8 (the 5th chamber begins to flow through the sample into the second chamber. Level sensor 7 at the moment the liquid begins to flow the sample includes a time reading device 8 and a cycle counter 9. The check valve 10 in the second chamber at this point injects gas from the chamber into the atmosphere so that the pressure drop on the sample remains constant. When the liquid level in the first chamber drops to the minimum, the sensor To 7 closes valve 6, and the level sensor 11 opens valve 12 Thus, the gas of the same pressure enters the second chamber and begins to force the liquid back through the sample. At this time, the check valve

13 releases the atmosphere from the first chamber and the 9-meter counter marks the end of the first cycle and the beginning of the second one. When the liquid level in the second chamber is lowered to the minimum, sensor 1 closes valve 12, and sensor 7 opens valve 6, and the process of fluid flow begins again. The cycle counter at this time marks the end of the second cycle and the beginning of the third.
During the measurement, a constant calibrated volume of liquid flows through the sample, which can be precisely set using sensors 7 and 11. This calibrated fluid volume must be such that during the fluctuations of the fluid level in the chambers the sample is completely submerged. If this condition is not met, then an error occurs associated with a change in the filtration area. Since it is possible to accurately measure the constant calibration volume of the pumped liquid, the number of cycles, the time taken to complete each cycle and the total time of a given number of cycles, and since the number of cycles can be practically unlimited, it is very accurate
