SOIL FREQUENCIES
(57) The invention relates to methods for determining earthquake-prone frequencies at which intense vibrations may occur due to soil pseudo-liquefaction. In order to increase accuracy and productivity by taking non-destructive measurements under natural conditions, surface oscillations of the soil are excited by the pathogen and are recorded by two spaced-apart seismic receivers. The frequencies are recorded at which the maximums of the transmission coefficient of the pathogen-ground-receiver system are reached. Then, eliminating these frequencies from the excitation signal, again find the frequencies of the maxima of the transmission coefficient. Those short-circuits, at which the maximum transmission coefficient is reached in the first and second measurements, are earthquake-prone. The use of a second receiver eliminates instrumental errors.

The invention relates to the field of engineering construction and earthquake-resistant construction and can be used to determine the characteristics of the mechanical properties of the soil and the bearing capacity of building structures in earthquake-prone areas by measuring the earthquake frequencies of the soil.
Цель изобретени - повышение точности и производительности путем осуществлени неразрушающих измерений в услови х естественного залегани .The purpose of the invention is to increase accuracy and productivity by taking non-destructive measurements under natural conditions.
The essence of the method consists in that a pathogen of surface waves is placed on the surface of the ground, for example a vibrator, and. register the oscillations of the surface of two spaced apart
The closest to the excitation 20 of the proposed method is
The receiver's body is located at a distance, at a smaller doubled length of the excited surface wave. Two receivers are necessary to account for the hardware resonances that can occur in the system. The far receiver is used for spectral analysis of surface oscillations in the far zone from the exciter. First, the pass-through frequency response of the pathogen – ground – receiver system is removed and frequencies are allocated at which the amplitude of oscillations at the receiver is maximum. This can be found by adjusting the frequency of the exciter or when wide-band excitation by spectral analysis of signals at the receiver. Then excite the system again at frequencies that do not coincide with the specified frequencies. If, at the same time, the maximum amplitudes of oscillations at the same frequencies reappear at the receiver, despite their absence in the exciter signal, then these are seismic dangerous frequencies. The essence of the phenomenon is that
На этих частотах в грунте могут возникать интенсивные колебани , привод щие к псев- доразжижению грунта и к разрушению сооружений и зданий.the energy of the waves of other frequencies due to the non-linearity of the system is pumped into narrow bands lying in the vicinity of seismic frequencies. At these frequencies, intense vibrations may occur in the soil, leading to pseudo-liquefaction of the soil and destruction of structures and buildings.
