Description

In laboratory practice, in the production of rational analysis of ore raw materials, a method is known for extracting copper from oxidized and secondary copper minerals by exchanging it with cyanic solutions. However, this method is not used in the processing of complex polymetallic ores.

In the described method, it is proposed to use the cyanogen leaching process with solutions of soluble copper minerals as a preparatory operation, not by flotation separation of collective copper-lead-zinc-pyrite concentrates.

In the implementation of the method, the oxidized copper and secondary copper sulphides are partially partially dissolved in cyanide, followed by washing the copper ions into the plums. A primary copper-lead-zinc-pyrite concentrate is subjected to primary cyanide leaching. After removal of the copper ions that have passed into the solution, the collective concentrate is ground, and it is fed to copper-lead flotation. The resulting crude copper-lead concentrate is again treated in a solution of cyanide and washed. Then, selective flotation is carried out to obtain a lead concentrate, a copper-lead product, and partly a zinc concentrate. The main zinc and pyrite concentrates are obtained by selectively separating the tails of copper-lead flotation. Before leaching, the concentrates are treated in sodium sulfide solution for 10 minutes, after which this solution is washed and removed. The copper from the leaching plums after leaching is recovered by electrolysis.
