Description
The invention relates to a measurement technique, in particular, to a voltage measurement device With the help of digital measuring devices - voltmeters, analog-to-digital converters.
The purpose of the invention is to improve the measurement accuracy.
The drawing shows the functional diagram of the Converter.
Генератор 1 случайных чисел выполнен на генераторе 12 импульсов, ключе 13 и счетчике 14.The converter contains 1 random number generator, digital voltmeter 2, input bus Z 4, overdrive 5, controlled voltage divider 6, outputted on resistor 7 and 8 and key 9, adjustable reference voltage source 10, digital-to-analog converter ( DAC) P. The random number generator 1 is made on the generator of 12 pulses, the key 13 and the counter 14.
The Converter operates as follows.
The measurement is carried out in two stages. First, the random voltage distribution function from the output of the DAC 11 is determined and their amplitudes are reduced by a certain number of times. For this purpose, the switch 5 is set to the position in which the first terminal of the resistor 8 of the divider 6 is connected to the inputs of the voltmeter 2, and the bus 4 of the source of the measured voltage is disconnected. The key 9 is closed, so that the resistor 7 is bridged and the division factor of the divider is equal to one. After this, the voltmeter 2 is turned on and the output voltage of the DAC is applied to the input of the voltmeter. Controlled by the voltmeter readings, the magnitude of the random voltages, their maximum possible amplitude is set equal to the upper limit of the voltmeter measurement. After this, the Random voltages are changed many times (n times) and measured by a voltmeter 2, as a result of which the random voltage distribution function is determined in the entire dynamic range of the instrument.
4:Then the switch 9 is opened and the position of the switch 5 is changed. At the same time, the splitter circuit 6 turns on the second resistor 7, sets the split ratio of splitter 4:

2.The voltage from the output of the DAC decreases in n times and in total with an unknown measurement value of the voltage U supplied to the inputs of the voltmeter 2.
1.In this case, at the DAC output, random values of voltages with a known distribution function F (U) are obtained. These signals, reduced in amplitude by K times with the help of divider 6, are added to the measured value U ;, and measured by a voltmeter. According to 5 results of repeated measurements (n times), the value of the distribution function of the total signal relative to one selected quagging level, for example, N-4U, is determined, where r is the quantization step of the digital voltmeter, and is the random number code at the generator 1 output.
0This value of the distribution function is equal to the probability of that; that the sum of the signal is less than the level, therefore, for the value of the level, you can choose a voltmeter reading, which varies during repeated measurements. Unknown measured voltage Uy is determined by the values obtained in accordance with the expression 0

N Uj. , то делитель 6 должен обеспечить его уменьшение в К раз, так чтоthe obtained value of the distribution function of the random signal with regard to. compress it K times. In order not to narrow the dynamic range of the measured voltages, the amplitudes of the random signals must be sufficiently small. In the ideal case, the maximum amplitude of a random signal should be equal to the quantization step AU (voltmeter 2, i.e., if at the first stage the maximum voltage value set at the output of the DAC 11 is equal to the limit of the voltmeter Ucy. N Uj., Then divider 6 should ensure its decrease by K times so that

30-100,The number of measurements p required to initially determine the distribution function of random signals a, and the number of repeated measurements p to determine the unknown voltage are selected from the general, well-known requirements for measuring the characteristics of random variables. As a rule, P, P 30–100,
The generation of random voltages is performed using a random number generator 1 and a DAC 1I as follows.
From the output of the generator 12, high-frequency rectangular pulses arrive at the counting input of the counter 14. When the key 13 is pressed, the control input of the counter 14 receives a zero potential allowing it to be filled with pulses from the generator I2. When the key is released, the pulse input is blocked on the output bit buses of the counter 14. The code from the counter output goes to the inputs of the D / A converter, at the output of which the corresponding voltage appears. Subsequent pressing of the I3 key, the counter 14 is refilled and a new voltage is sampled, the voltage at the DAC output. Since the time for pressing the key 13 is not correlated with the period of the generator 12, each time the counter is filled with a random number of pulses and each time a random voltage step is generated at the output of the DAC II. Such a mode allows, after each generation of a random voltage, to make its addition with the measured voltage and their measurement with a voltmeter 2, and then repeat the cycle.
Adjustment of the maximum amplitude of the random voltage is made in advance by means of an adjustable source 10 of the reference voltage. To do this, for example, the maximum input signal is fed to the DAC inputs and the source amplitude 10 sets the maximum amplitude at the DAC I1 output (the installation inputs of the counter 14 are not yet bored).

In this case, the determination of the parameters of a random signal and the measurement of an unknown quantity are carried out using a digital voltmeter included in the converter.
