Известен способ регулировани  молекул рного веса полимеров, получаемых полимеризацией этилена и а-олефинов с использованием комплексных металлоорганических катализаторов Циглера-Натта, путем изменени  мол рного соотношени  между компонентами катализатора, например триэтилалюминием и четыреххлористым титаном. Однако этот метод не обеспечивает хорошей воспроизводимости результатов, так как даже незначительные колебани  в соотношении компонентов катализатора вызывают заметные изменени  молекул рного веса полимеров.There is a method of controlling the molecular weight of polymers obtained by polymerizing ethylene and a-olefins using Ziegler-Natta complex organometallic catalysts by changing the molar ratio between the components of the catalyst, such as aluminum triethyl and titanium tetrachloride. С целью стабильного получени  полимеров с заранее заданным молекул рным весом предлагаетс  вводить в реакционную смесь агенты обрыва цепи, в качестве которых могут быть использованы галоидопроизводные углеводородов, причем наиболее эффективными  вл ютс  те, которые содержат более подвижный атом галоида, например, третичный амилхлорид или изопропилхлорид.
