Hydrogen chloride is passed through a melt of 100 g of diphenylvinylphosphine oxide at 125-130 s to a weight of 28.0 g (molar ratio phosphine oxide-hydrogen chloride 1: 1.8) for 2-2.5 h, after which the reaction mixture cooled to, dissolved in 100 ml of chloroform and washed twice with warm water (40-50 ° C). After distilling off the chloroform and residual water and keeping the residue at 130 ° C (15 mm Hg), 114.1 g (98.1%) of product are obtained, m.p. 127-129 C. NMR p spectrum {n} (EtOH, lijPO, s /, MD): 32.3. The signal at 26.7 of the original diphenylvinylphosphine oxide is absent.

98,1%.20 Thus, the preferred method makes it possible to obtain targeted diaryl-2-chloroethylphosphine oxides from high quality arylvinylphosphine oxides with yields close to quantitative. Thus, for example, the yield of diphenyl-2-chloroethylphosphine oxide is increased from 39.4% to 98.1% compared with the known method.
